Excellent food at a reasonable price. Service was excellent as well.
We were the only ones there early on a Friday (9am) for breakfast and had no idea what to expect as this was our first time there. We googled “heuvos rancheros near me” and this restaurant came up.
The food was great, portions generous, staff inviting, even got chips and 3 salsas which we did not expect at all.. Verde, Rojas, and pico de gallo! I got the heuvos rancheros and my wife got the mi peublos skillet.
Only giving 4 because they had to come out and tell us that one of our orders had to be changed because the chef did not know how to make it… thats odd. They also had a delivery guy walking through the dining room a few times. Again odd, but didnt take much away from an otherwise great experience.
We will definitely be back!!!

Tuesdays, for my husband and me, are always known as Taco Tuesday. We love to discover new spots at which to indulge. On a recent Taco Tuesday, I was perusing reviews for local Mexican eateries, searching for a place we hadn’t tried yet and which had good reviews. We decided to try Mi Puebla for lunch, and it definitely fit the bill! A small restaurant which seems to be family-run, the service was friendly and efficient, the prices were reasonable – $2 for a la carte tacos (Tuesday special), $5 for a medium order of guac, and $5 for house margaritas (which were quite drinkable although not an area standout, but the price was right!) – and the food was delicious and filling! We will definitely be popping in for another Taco Tuesday lunch or three!

Mi Pueblo has the best quesabirria tacos I’ve ever had! The service is amazing and the atmosphere is very relaxed and family-friendly. The prices are not bad at all, especially for the outstanding quantity and quality of the food. This is now my favorite restaurant in Milwaukee!!

This is hands down the best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. I’ve tried plenty in Wisconsin but nothing compares to this place. It feels so authentic, almost like being at home. The food is absolutely amazing, flavorful, fresh, and worth every dime. Prices are very reasonable and affordable for the quality you get. Whoever is back in that kitchen deserves all the credit, they’re cooking with love and it shows in every bite.

My mom & I shared the Parrillada Mix for two, which I highly recommend. They are not stingy w/ the portions & everything we tried was delicious!! I was impressed that the entire staff was very attentive considering there was a busy Saturday dinner rush. We will definitely be coming back.

Great authentic Mexican food! The salsas provide a good range of spice levels, the seasoning on the fajitas was excellent. I will be coming back with my family. Good prices and large portions.

Wow!! Need I say more! This place was wonderful! We used to frequent this place when it was cinco de mayo and to be honest we were a little scared to learn that there are new owners but they far surpassed any Mexican food we have ever had in Milwaukee. Wish I had taken pictures but food was plentiful and extremely affordable! Our server Maria was a pure delight. Manager came by to ask how things were. We will definitely be back!!

This place has very good Mexican food. We go fairly regularly and our favorites are Camerones à la Diabla (it’s hot but so good), shrimp enchiladas and steak quesadillas. You can really taste all the flavors and portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Margaritas are wonderful and the service is efficient and friendly.

stopped in for Tuesday Taco special and ordered three steak tacos. They were excellent and the staff is very friendly. Family owned and operated business and the owners and their son Sal are very welcoming and a pleasure to talk to. I enjoy coming in and chatting with them about the business and their food.
