BEST TAMALES IN OAKLAWN!!!!! very authentic flavors, every Tamal was 10/10. The Oaxaqueños are so good, the mole one is delicious, I think they use mole negro so it’s not sweet! The green tamales are SPICY! But so delicious. The beans and cheese was so delicious, I’ve never had one like that and it’s one my favorite for sure. We also had a Pambazo it was 10/10. The vibes are so cute and decor is very traditional Mexican, I can’t wait to try their whole menu!

Wanted some tamales but it was too late to go to my usual tamal lady. Went here wanting to see how it was. It was mediocre and expensive, the red tamales were bland the green tamales were spicy (which i like) but the chicken was dry with no flavor. The chilaquiles were good but they need to offer arrachera instead of cecina, also use pinto beans instead of black beans. The atole de nuez and guayaba are good though. Ps. Found a big piece of fat in one of the tamales so be mindful of that, look at pics

This is by far one of the cleanest Mexican restaurants ever.
I am not a fan of Tamales, but my wife told they are delicious. They have too many flavors, and varieties like TAMALES OAXAQUEN̈OS, AND VEGGIES. The POZOLE VERDE was good, but it was more than a CALDO DE POLLO with corn.
I ordered a SOPE, and was a decent size and tasteful, but TACOS DE TRIPA were amazing.
El AGUA DE PEPINO was good as well as the CAFFE DE OLLA.
my only suggestion it is to get big cups for the ATOLE since they served in a TO GO cup.
Bathroom was clean and smell free.
10/10 definitely coming back soon.

Drove all the way from the northside of Chicago to try this place and it was WORTH it!
The tacos de arrachera (skirt steak) were amazing meat is seasoned so good! My boyfriend had the GTO burger and he rates a 12/10.! That was so good! the salsas were sooo delicious, the horchata water was so tasty!!
& to top it off the rice and beans in the taco dinner were so good! Normally that’s not the case!
Highly recommend this spot!! Shoutout to Alexis for the great service!

It was our first time here and the customer service was really great! We ordered the Quesa-Birrias which was extremely delicious, a steak taco that was also bursting with flavors. The meats on both were very well seasoned. I also ordered the pork tamales. The masa was a bit mushy at first bite, so I wasn’t that impressed by the tamales. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu!!! What a nice eatery addition to the neighborhood.

I love the food here. The steak tacos are delicious, the grilled chicken is so soft , and the don nico flutas are so good. The tamales are soft and have good portions , and lastly the rice water with strawberry is creamy . I went there with my family and we got a little of everything 100% recommend

First time trying and I will definitely come back!! I live in Oaklawn and would always have to drive all the way south for a good tamale now I can just go down the block. 100/10 the tamales have such a good taste not dry at all. Great food. Lady at the cash register was really nice and helpful 10/10
