Ordered a simple ham BLT and onion rings. The sandwich tasted good but was just thrown together and it was on the smallest pieces of bread I’ve ever seen, one piece of lettuce and one small piece tomato,I asked for onion added and didn’t get it. The onion rings were really good tho. I ordered a piece of peach crumble pie for dessert, I wasn’t asked if I wanted it heated, it came flat,it was basically pie crust with soupy peachy insides, didn’t taste very good either. First visit here and probably the last.

If you want every kind of fry and really good battered fish this is the place for you. Definitely fried food and iceberg lettuce so don’t expect a healthy meal. But that’s not why you go there! Everything on the menu is good and they have a full bar. Great location on beautiful Wall Lake.

Old hole- in- the- wall restaurant which is our favorite kind. Waitress was good, food was good but we waited an exceptional long time to get our food. Not sure what took so long. Definitely recommend though.

We have been going to Wallake for over 15 years, and it is still as good to day as the first time. Best fish and gizzards. Service is the best and it is always clean. Best chicken anywhere

Broasted chicken so tender the bones fall out of the wing as you’re eating it. The broasted chicken order is a half chicken or you can get all white (2 breast, 2 wing) or all dark (2 thigh, 2 leg) for a small charge. We didn’t see an a la carte option. Chicken was very moist. The sweet potato fries are crinkle cut and served piping hot with a sweet dipping sauce. They are also good dipped in ranch dressing. Dinner salad was basic salad mix with cherry tomatoes and a generous helping of shredded cheese. We will be back.

Food is your typical bar or lake area food, burgers, fish, and sandwiches. Far as “serving up fish dinners”, all they have is a pollock and a perch dinner, when i hear fish dinners i think of a larger variety walleye, pirch, pollock, and so on. We had a newer server, and we had a table of 10 and I guess we were her 2nd bigger table and she had no help when it came to order taking and the outcome was not good. We felt bad for her and think an experienced waitress should have helped her with our big table group. Checks were very messed up. Work with your newer staff. The french fries and broasted potatoes where cooked. I think they emptied them frozen in a basket and warmed them up and served them. It was my first time there and noticed a woman, an employee, just literally standing at the bar not doing anything and was capable of helping this more server out but did not. Seems this place needs better managed.

Very basic atmosphere, but they have an expansive menu, all of which is delicious. The broasted chicken is the best anywhere. The fish, burgers, ribs, salads, and desserts are all very good. Nightly specials. Excellent service. If you like gizzards, people love theirs. We have never had a bad meal here out of dozens of visits.
