Compared to some of the other local Chinese buffet, the food here at Green Jade isn’t rushed and thrown under some heat lamps. They have a better selection of dishes and appetizers to order from thier menu, compared to a buffet where food can sit there for hours.

Just moved to town and was wanting Chinese food the prices where decent for the meal I got the rice was very well cooked and came out shortly after I ordered it so didn’t wait long it’s a very quiet place which was nice to eat in peace the staff was friendly in my opinion it was a very nice lunch

We had a very good experience ordering take-out from Green Jade. The food quality was very, very good. The portions were at least as generous as we hoped for, and the staff member I interacted with was very polite and professional. We got a lot, so the bill was much higher than we usually spend when we get Chinese take-out.

I got take out, but I will have to go inside to eat someday. The place looks beautiful and very clean. Love the Orange chicken and Hunan Beef is one of my favorites. Check this place out! Only Chinese Restuarant in St. Marys,PA. I’m sick of pizza! Thanks Green Jade!

Insane pricing… Just because you’re the only Chinese food place in town does not mean you’re allowed to gouge your customers…. I got the dinner General so with fried rice and egg drop soup. My bill came to $22 and my rice and chicken were stuffed in the same container that is ridiculous. I have gotten the exact same amount of food. For close to half that price I would definitely will not be ordering from here again..

Prices are reasonable. The veggies are always cooked perfectly crisp, the sauces are always of good flavor and consistency. Everything is very fresh. I’m not in love with the beef, but it’s prepared well-enough. I am in love with the soups.
I’m also shocked by other patrons saying the portion sizes are small. I’ve seldom seen anyone finish their dish in one sitting.
Overall, you’re not going to get better Chinese food for miles.

Just a travisty of Chinese cooking! I lived in Philly for 20 years and the Chinese restaurants there would be disgusted! I spent $14.25 on chicken and shrimp combo, $5.00 for extra white rice and I WISH I could post pictures! 6 small shrimp, overcooked chicken bits and a whole bunch of carrots and celery, which are NOT CHINESE VEGTABLES!!!! Where’s the mushrooms, baby corn, snow peas, bok choy, etc? Disgusting! I can cook better chicken and shrimp with carrots and celery, it’s called an American chicken stew with a few shrimp! No wonder everyone goes to Johnsonburg for decent Chinese food!
