The Delmonico Room at the Hotel Fauchère features fine regional American cuisine in an elegant and traditional setting. The Delmonico Room is named after Louis Fauchère’s friends, the Delmonico brothers, who owned the famous Delmonico’s restaurant in New York in the mid 19th century, where Louis Fauchère was a master chef before opening the Hotel Fauchere in 1852. Delmonico’s established one of the first truly American culinary traditions, and introduced many dishes that are well-known today. They “invented” the hamburger as a sandwich, as well as Lobster Newburg, Lobster Thermidor, potatoes au gratin, Eggs Benedict and, of course, the famed (and mouthwatering) Delmonico cut of steak.

I want to highly recommend the Delmonico Room at the Hotel Fauchere. A short time ago, I took my then girlfriend there to propose to her – and my fiancée absolutely loved it!
I cannot speak highly enough of the staff, the location, and the food. I reached out to the Hotel prior to our engagement and they were incredibly accommodating to all my requests for the event!
They went out of their way to make sure it would be the most memorable event for my fiancée. They do a fantastic job making sure the location is beautiful and well kept and it was a delight to sit in the sunroom, especially at dusk. It was gorgeous. The staff attended to us as if we were the only people in the hotel. The pianist added a wonderfully delightful ambiance to the evening and made the beautiful room even more opulent.
I asked and they graciously provided a table next to the fire pit in their private garden with a beautiful red rose. I walked her out past their lovely fountain to the table where the ring was waiting for her. They also coordinated with me throughout the evening, bringing her gifts at just the right time to make it completely magical.
And the food! I highly recommend the Delmonico steak! It is stellar. We both had one and loved it. And when it came time to dessert, they wrote a beautiful congratulations on the plate, just to top off the evening.
We spent almost 4 hours there and it passed in a blink. Never once did we feel hurried. I cannot speak highly enough of everyone who was working there. I wholly recommend this restaurant for your fine dining experiences!

We sat on the porch on a beautiful sunny afternoon and had a nice dinner here. It was cool and shady under the awnings with the ceiling fans on. Everything we had was delicious and the service was spot on. Must get the sushi pizza!

I was fairly disappointed with the Easter brunch experience we had here. There was a very limited fixed price menu with no substitutions allowed. I understand on busy days like Easter this is needed to help the kitchen maintain quality while serving a higher than normal number of guests. But sadly even the select few dishes we were allowed to choose from were quite disappointing. Food was cold and bland and had the seeming quality of a buffet line. No bread was offered or available. 3 stars for good service, good drinks, and a nice dining area. I’ve heard nothing but good things about this restaurant and will be giving them another try in the future but it failed to live up to its reputation on my first time there.
