I was recommended this place by a friend that does food reviews (eatingthe209) and I had never experienced Indian food before. I tried the butter chicken with the basmati rice with the garlic naan and let me just say that it was out of this world. Flavors I never knew existed (having ate mostly Mexican food before). It really is something you should try! The owner is super friendly and I always recommend this spot to all my friends and family. Heard great things about this place from locals and had to give it a try! The food was absolutely amazing!!!! So fresh, full of flavors, and extremely delicious! We ordered so many items which included the naan chalupa (10/10), samosa chaat (9/10), paneer chaat (10/10), and naan torta (11/10). The portion sizes were insane! So much food for the price. Really loved the customer service and experience! Will definitely be revisiting again soon!

Every dish I’ve had from here has been amazing. I typically get four tacos to have each protein they have. Because all of them are so good and I don’t have it in myself to scarf down 4 burritos or bowls. If I were to have to recommend any one protein choice it would be the fish. I don’t say this to pull away attention or merit from the other three options: chicken, cheese, and soy beans. If you like the middle east flavors and you’re looking for something delicious, quick, and decently priced you’d be foolish to not give Sizzlin Masala a try.

And I gotta say, it was absolutely worth it. Portion sizes are MASSIVE to say the least. Every main item fills the entire container it’s served in.
Service was amazing and the owners were fun to talk to. The best part, they keep it simple. 3 different protein options are given (Chicken, Paneer, and Soy) and they told me they’re gonna bring Vegan cheese as an option as well.
P.S. if you like it spicy, just let em know. They will do it right!

Um why haven’t I tried this sooner? It’s Amazing! My mom brought be a burrito one day and told me it was from a taco truck that is a combination of Mexican and indian food. It’s something I never even heard of before and decided to try it out. And wow this is a pretty unique combination. I had their burrito and their quesadilla so far and both and pretty amazing. You think your getting a regular burrito from a taco truck, but when you taste it, it has such a unique taste that I can only describe as amazing. I do have to say that towards the end of my burrito it started to get pretty spicy but other than that it was pretty good. Also, if you save some for the next day, it seems to taste even better which is crazy. Something I didn’t like was I recently ordered a chicken quesadilla which was pretty good. BUT, I found a decently long piece of hair in my food. I don’t know if they are wearing hair nets or something, but this is definitely an issue. Pretty disgusting, but if they can prevent this issue then I would say it’s a 5 out of 5, cause I don’t have any other issues. It’s a unique combination so I still recommend trying it out at least one time and if you like it, it may become your regular taco truck place.

Great flavors taste like authentic Indian food with Mexican flavors added. Definitely brings the best of both worlds. Got the loaded chicken masala with mild spice. Also got the chai horchata mango lassi both very delicious. Will definitely be back agian tons of flavor. Maybe use less onion or dont go on a date after eating this. Wish they had a Mexican protein(meat) tacos something basic for a kid who won’t eat Indian food.

We were simply blown away by the amazing experience we had at Sizzlin’ Masala! This Indian Mexican fusion food truck in Modesto is an absolute gem. The moment you step up, you’re greeted by the friendliest employees who make you feel like part of their family.
We enjoyed all the food that we ordered. The Chicken Masala Quesadilla is an explosion of flavors, combining the best of both cuisines into one unforgettable dish. The Loaded Chicken Masala Fries are a perfect balance of spice and crunch that’s simply addictive. The combination of tender chicken Masala with the crispy fries creates a texture and taste that’s out of this world. My wife and I tried it for the first time after seeing a video somewhere about it and it was delicious. You can taste the fusion of both cultures in every bite, we tried their loaded quesadilla, naan chalupa, and a order of samosas. The guy who took our order was welcoming and friendly.
