Step into Bertolozi’s Pizzeria, a throwback to the golden era of Chicago’s neighborhood taverns, where the beer was cold, the jukebox was loud, and the pizza was cracker-thin and cut tavern-style. Inspired by pizza techniques that were developed in the 1950’s, Bertolozi’s blends retro vibes with classic flavors, serving up legendary cracker thin tavern pizza, Italian Beefs and Chicago Hotdogs.

Pizza here is the best I’ve ever had, hands down! But what makes getting your pizza from here taste even better, is the superior customer service. Drew is amazing at her job. She’s a real ambassador of the shop. I came late the night before and they were sold out. She made sure I got a pie as soon as one was ready the next day. I didn’t ask her to. She offered. I was leaving town early the next day, but the offer made me stay a lil longer and I’m very glad I did. Thank you to Drew and the rest of the team.
I ate a few slices as soon as I got in the car. Absolutely delicious. Top notch service and food.

Went here because I saw it on social media and, like everyone else, Dave Portnoy’s review. But please, don’t be like the guys sitting next to me giving it their own number rankings and rating it to other pizza places around.
I literally just spent the week in Chicago. Had a few pizzas and Italian beef sandwiches while there. And this place can hang with them. The pizza is thin and crispy, not too saucy and a nice flavored cheese blend. The Italian beef I got wet and added giardiniera. The beef was tender and flavorful, bread soaked up the au jus well, but the giardiniera was just ok. Still, I enjoyed it.
TL;DR: Good pizza. Go there.

Best pizza in Atlanta!! We have been looking for thin Chicago style pizza, and this hit the spot. Perfectly crispy, fantastic sauce, and the ricotta just sets it over the top. I can’t recommend enough.

Being from Chicago, I’m always looking for pizza that reminds me of home. Most Chicago pizza places that open in Atlanta focus on deep dish. And that’s a fine novelty, but it isn’t the lived experience of most Chicagoans.
This restaurant serves pizza on a thin, crispy crust that is much more authentic to the Windy City. And thank goodness. The food is good, the service is friendly, and you don’t have to sit on the Dan Ryan. Take your friends and find out whether they’re middle-slice types or edge-slice types.

We enjoyed our delicious pizzas! Tons of flavor in every bite- the ricotta is perfectly seasoned and love it was on every slice practically. The Cesar salad was great as well.
The pizza was worth the 45 minute wait especially with the great tunes they were playing (classic rock)
I grew up in a small local Italian pizza joint and I felt all those feelings being inside Bertolozi’s. We can’t wait to get another pie.

I’m a big fan of thin crust/hand tossed Chicago style pizza, so I was anxious to give this one a try. I ordered the 14” pizza with Italian sausage and pepperoni. I was a little shocked at the cost of $28 for just the pizza and two toppings. But I really wanted to love it. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed. The crust was only crispy at the very edge. The rest wasn’t just not crispy, it was tough. Meaning very hard to even bite through. In fact, I had to use my pizza cutter at home because the guy who cut it in store didn’t get thought the crust. The crust was also very bland. No flavor or seasonings on the bottom. The positive is the toppings were fresh and the sauce was pretty good. Perhaps it’s better right out of the oven but I only live about 5 mins away, so you wouldn’t think the crust would suffer like that over such a short period of time.
I’m hoping this was an isolated situation. The crew and owner seemed like great people and they’ve only been open for 2 weeks. I may give it another try sometime when I can eat in the store.

Went here to do a bite club review and since they had Dave Portnoy visit, they are crazy busy. It was a two hour wait for pizza so we did not get any, they also did not have any Italian beef until dinner so I couldn’t try that either. Apparently the owner is great and the pizza is worth trying so I will be back hopefully on an afternoon when they are not totally slammed. Some days I have seen they run out of pizza, which means they have been trying to keep up with the new popularity. Looking forward to checking it out soon.

Order early! Ordered the Joyce and the George — worth the hour wait! Pizza was crispy, sauce had the perfect balance of acidity and sweetness, and the owner is a class act. He offered everyone who was there free drinks while waiting for their food. Glad these guys are getting the success they deserve. Awesome story, awesome pizza. Can’t wait to see them became an anchor in Atlanta’s underrated pizza scene.

It took an hour to get a pizza, which is frustrating—definitely would not recommend. The service is awful; it seems like the staff either get overwhelmed or don’t manage orders efficiently. They really need better management—maybe one oven dedicated to delivery and another for in-store orders.
The pizza itself is pretty average—I’d give it a solid 5/10. It’s okay to try once, but I wouldn’t repeat.
If you want good pizza with fast service, quality ingredients, and reasonable prices, Antico’s is the best option in town. So, if you’re hoping to get your pizza quickly, beware—plan for a big wait.
