The place has a great country breakfast atmosphere. Very cozy and welcoming. Server was nice but put a bigger tip than we asked her too on our bill. Everything we ordered was way over cooked or burnt. Bacon was almost charcoal and eggs were hard and dry as the desert. The country ham was tuff as rubber and the gravy is powdered mix. The biscuits are microwaved. Will not be going back, unfortunately.

My wife and I eat here at least once a week usually on Sundays. I see at least and actually it is once a week. Today our youngest daughter joined us for breakfast. The food was good as normal. The service was also. It’s a real laid-back family like atmosphere and a little country town.
The menu has a wide variety of breakfast and lunch foods as well as sandwiches. Today I had the country fried steak, fried potatoes, fresh, sliced tomatoes, and half-and-half tea.
The place could use a very thorough cleaning, but I would not say that they would fail the health inspection by any measure. We see the same faces every week when we go, and sometimes some of the faces want to talk to people across the room and have discussions, which can be annoying. I suppose that these people know each other from the community and are just having a good time.

We have been wanting to stop and try their food but never had the chance until today. I had the catfish, hush puppies, turnip greens & fresh cabbage. Will had the burger & tots, plus what I don’t eat. . All the food was very good. The cabbage was on the cold side. The crust on the Fried catfish was crispy. Hamburger seasoned good. Our server didn’t check on us. My husband ran out of tea. I ran out of Diet Coke. I have food but no drink. My husband finally saw our server, so I got a drink refill and she apologized. We may come back when we pass this way. Maybe next time we will have better service

Server was very nice, attentive and helpful. Carrots were mushy, fried chicken piece small & bland. Atmosphere was small town diner with a payphone on the wall. Prices modest. We will look for a better food experience next visit to the area at a different restaurant.

A true local small town country cooking restaurant. The people working there were great. The good was great. We went for the meat and three option both getting the fried chicken. This was some of the crunchiest fried chicken ever with amazing taste. Strongly recommend you try it if you see it. The only thing I would pass on if I had a do over was the fried cornbread. Not really with it. If you are on the interstate and want some country cooking and to feel like a local, stop here. Skip cracker barrel and go for the real deal.

We like to find neighborhood diners as we travel. It’s fun to watch friends & relatives come & join conversations with folks already eating. Most of the conversation is about the turn the weather just took or did you hear that Jack’s niece is pregnant, in jail, graduated from college?
The food was good with home style sides; cabbage & turnip greens for me, mashed potatoes, gravy and white beans for my husband. He had fried pork cutlet, with fried cornbread. It was a great meal and overall fun experience. We did not make it to their gorgeous selection of desserts.

Just one of the best breakfast’s I’ve had in years. The food was amazing, all the servers and cooks were so nice and all worked together. I would recommend this place, and will be back. Prices were very reasonable.

Quaint family restaurant with a comforting atmosphere. Server was great and accommodating. We were there for hours catching up, and they didn’t give us any flak (or dirty looks) like some chain restaurants might.
Home fries were okay, some lacked any crunch at all; the rest of the food was great.

Great little eatery, with awesome prices. They have a decent three page menu with breakfast lunch and dinner options. Our party is a bit difficult, and we each built our meals, substituting, adding, and then of course changing everything last second.. and the waitress handled it all with a friendly smile and (a seemingly) genuine laugh.
I ordered an omelet (pictured) with all veggies, chicken, and jalapeños, and it was really good. Not over cooked on any of the veggies so they were still crisp, and the eggs didn’t have that grease-coating you usually get from a diner. Huge plus for me.
The bathrooms are up to par, though only single serving. Fully-filled soap dispenser, paper towels and air dryer if you so choose. The toilet was clean, the mirror wasn’t gang-tagged, and it smelled okay.
If you’re looking for that country spot to eat, talk, and kick back for a bit – this is going to be the place for you. On your way out, go ahead and get yourself some of their delicious fudge pie!

Nice country diner. Staff was friendly and welcoming. I had the western omelette with bacon and a biscuit. Omelette was ok. Best part was the homemade biscuits. Portions are normal size. Then we got 2 slices of cake. Oohy gooey and red velvet. The oohy gooey was delicious! Chocolate cake with sweetened condensed milk on top. Only pictured a slice we split 5 ways. So the cake slice serving was huge. Prices were reasonable for the most part. Restroom was clean. I actually liked how the coffee cups were all random and none alike of different patterns. Good for a quick bite to eat if you are passing it by.
