No sliced pork available but the pulled pork was first rate with excellent flavor, even if sloppily butchered with a large, flat bone left in my rather small pork plate. Would’ve been better if the cook had not spontaneously put vinegar sauce on it — an abomination to pork BBQ IMHO. (Also noting that the coleslaw is made using solely oil & vinegar, if that’s what you like. I do not.)

One unforgivable is the fact that menu pricing is not up-to-date nor accurate. I posted the only available menu anyway to replace the now 5-year old menu pictured. The waitress neglected to mention that all items were approximately one dollar more than advertised in cost until payment, which “Oh, by the way” is completely unacceptable. (Failure to post this at the door, prominently throughout the restaurant, and at each table is theft by deception.)

Take home message: good barbecue, bad business practices. And don’t let them put vinegar on your meat!

This is a hidden gem, the food is sooo good ! Very nice people, family run. You have to get your picture taken with Andrew the big plastic pig, he’s the Mascot. Try the big pig sandwich it’s the best pulled pork I have had. Very nice family restaurant, they are in a temporary building while they are rebuilding the original building after a fire.we made a 4 hour trip from middle Tennessee to check it out. This is a must stop and eat.

I’m here to tell you I’ve been to a lot of establishments who claim they are the best. Most of them are actually not too bad, but let me tell you about Bill’s. Hands down the best pulled pork I’ve had the honor of tasting! With or without the sauce it’s delicious. I myself am a fan of Carolina type sauces which this sauce reminds me of. Great all around. I’ve gotten take out twice and not a complaint one from me. The part about this place I haven’t mentioned yet…..no way possible you can beat the prices. Thank you all at Bill’s and yes I will be returning quite often. Mainly Thursdays.

Great bbq sandwich, onion rings were cooked perfectly. Server was nice. The inside seems a little dark, need brighter colors. An updated look could still reflect the long history of this place.

Been eating here for over forty years. Have to stop in for a few Big Pigs and a gallon of sauce to take home every time I’m in town or even close by. My absolute favorite barbecue sammich in the whole world.

My very favorite bbq. A taste of home every time we visit. They will freeze a pound or two if you call ahead. This and Causbie’s is a little bit of Kennett heaven.

A sauce that carries hints of Ernest Tossel’s, became wickers, with a thicker base, very good, Bill’s has always had a great special. Used to be picnic basket 40 years ago. Longevity should clue you as to how good it is
