Just ate and never in my life had OX tails and can honestly say im so glad I came here to try them. Beef patty amazing chicken patty in its own league. Coco bread with oxtail and rice w/peas amazing. Jerk chicken phenomenal, jerk wings amazing Roti great and drinks pure bliss. Try the ox tails with baked macaroni and the coco bread drinking on a Kola Chrompogne was the highlight of the dish 20/10 will be back again.

This place is a hidden gem! The food was delicious! This was our first experience with Caribbean food. The Oxtails were falling off the bone, the jerk chicken was delightfully delicious! The vegetable plate for vegan in the group, was bursting with flavor! I will be back to try other menu items.

This place is awesome! The service was amazing, the staff was very helpful explaining the menu and making suggestions. With it being our first time here they had great recommendations and explanations for the dishes. Our favorite for sure would be the jerk chicken! But the curry chicken and the stew were also amazing! The meat fell right off the bone from how tender it all was! Cooked to perfection! The curry potatoes were very good as well and the rice! Both the white rice and rice and peas were delicious. The portions are great as well. The staff did inform us they have live DJs and happy hour on Friday so I may be back on a Friday evening!

Hands down the best in Baytown. Absolutely delicious food and great service!
I ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas and plantains — everything was perfect. The plantains were cooked just right, not soggy at all, and the jerk chicken was incredibly tender, sliding right off the bone. You can tell it’s made with care and flavor in mind.

The owner was very friendly and welcoming, which added to the great experience. My food was ready in under 10 minutes, the restaurant was clean and well-kept, and there was plenty of parking available. Definitely a spot worth checking out — I’ll be back soon!

Went soon as they opened on Tuesday to try the oxtails and they didn’t have anymore after they sold out on Sunday. So I tried the brown stew chicken and curry chicken. Both were ok but I can’t say it was more than just something to eat to survive. They also didn’t have any patties beef or otherwise, because they get them from a distributor. Rum punch was lacking rum. The guy at the register was cool.

Let’s get into it!

I’ve been looking for authentic Carribean food since I moved to H-Town & I’ve finally found it.

Let’s start with the fact that the COCO BREAD literallyyyyyy melted in my moufffff yawl. And I have nottttttttt had Rum Punch Like THIS since I visited The Bahamas 6 years ago. I was gauddddd.

The main dish…
Oxtail – the Oxtails were no lie…..falling off the dang bone and was seasoned to perfection. The Peas & Rice was amazing & the plantains were fried to perfection. The Mac & cheese reminded me of my granny’s.
. Check them out & tell them Tee FROM GOOGLE sent ya!
