Came in for an early dinner and a beer after work. Pleasantly surprised. Old school feel inside. Everything appeared very clean and maintained.
I went with the El Molcajete and my coworker went with the birria tacos.
Wasn’t the best molcajete I’ve had but it was certainly the best I’ve had for the price. Thinking back, great prices for the quality of food. Beers are $4.25; if I lived in the area this would be a regular place for me for sure.
Chips were fresh and delicious as was both salsas I tried.
Service was spot on; attentive and prompt.

The family favorite! Everything here is absolutely delicious. We love the Puposas, Plátanos and tacos. Don’t miss the special Loroco Puposas, they are the best! Great service, always hot and fresh as can be, and great prices! We came here for my husbands birthday with a large group and they were able to manage a great experience for us then as well. I think I’ll have my birthday dinner here too. So so good!

Finally found Salvadorian food in Placerville! Highly recommend. They have a great blend of Salvadorian and Mexican style food. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Some of the best birria tacos I’ve had. The papusas are really good as well. Hidden gem in the area Forsure.

I am so happy to support this little restaurant! It is a father and son who run it. They work hard and are very kind. The food is always very delicious and they have so many unique menu items! They also have a lot of healthy items that you can get. They literally have something for everyone! Salads, chicken Caesar wrap that is to die for and many other delicious authentic foods! The pollo a la crema is fantastic and I have never had anything like it. There are so many items that I have not yet tried but I want to. Huge menu . We have never had anything bad from here. The atmosphere is clean but not fancy, it is a place you go for the food and not the atmosphere. It is an absolute family run gem and if you have been sleeping on it that’s your loss.

This is not a large restaurant but adequate. I experuenced the owner’s commitment when I commented to him about the mole, and he brought some more out that was very tasty.
I recommend this as definitely a place to try gir diamond springs.

Cozy and clean. Great service and yummy food. We ordered combo plate with cheese enchiladas and beef taco, Caritas super burrito, and Carne Asada burrito. Beans and rice, were excellent.

They truly live up to their Name. The best Salvadorian/Mexican food restaurant . I get the chile Colorado plate every time. The way they prepare and cook it, brings back memories. Exactly how my family cooks it. Not too hot with flavor that make you say mmm wow that’s good. My wife loves the Birra taco plate from here. If don’t take my word for it. Come see for yourself!
