I ordered 2 orders of birria tacos with consome and 1 corn on the cob.
MY ORDER TOTALED $40.
I wouldn’t mind the cost if the food actually tasted HALF DECENT, but it is all hot garbage.
Results:
Skimpy food that tastes stale… Even the “fresh cilantro on the side” is stale and wilted, like how— and their birria meat is tough to chew. It’s not soft like it’s meant to be. My 10 year old (whom I cook for daily) can discern between low quality food and authentic fresh food. He also disapproves. My whole family disapproves and we feel robbed of our money and offended that we have to eat this. Now I have to cook dinner anyways because this food sucked and everyone is still hungry.
Their consome de birria is literally hot garbage in a cup, and they skimp on that, too. They give you like 6oz. There is no flavor in the consome, no meat in the consome, and barely even salt or cilantro in the consome! Just oily gravy with the whisper of a meaty memory.
Hot. Overcooked. Skimpy. Garbage.
Their birria tacos are so skimpy and skinny and they charge $14.99 for all 3 of them.
Their menus are also old with incorrect (cheaper) prices, but they clearly can’t afford to print new ones with their more expenses prices because their business is tanking. Rightfully so.
Save yourself the grief and just cook this meal yourself for less money, or take a trip to Birria-Landia in NYC for authentic Birria tacos that are worth the long-lines. The real birria tacos and real consome is packed with soft meat and are rich with flavor and love.
This Paraiso Rosel place is fraudulent and should take the Birria off their menu if they’re better at cooking other things because their birria tacos suck and consome is shameful. Sad. Disappointing. We will never be returning. In fact, if this is what they can pull-off with this level of food, I’ll be opening my own restaurant selling birria tacos right nearby to out-compete these people and return honor to authentic Mexican cuisine.

Absolutely amazing! I got takeout from Paraiso Rosel and was blown away. The chicken street tacos and chipotle quesadilla were packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. On top of that, the customer service was incredible—so friendly and welcoming. They also offer catering, which is great for events or gatherings. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious, authentic Mexican food. Will definitely be coming back!

What a great little CLEAN restaurant. Friendly staff, great food, really nice owner. My wife had shrimp, steak, chirizo, and chicken in a roasted pineapple, and I had a clay pot with similar selections. Lots of food and everything was excellent.

Great food, the piña loca and the molcajete are as amazing as they look. The queso is the best we’ve ever had. You get what you pay for! The fried ice cream and cheesecake chimichangas were equally incredible, and the staff & owner were friendly and accommodating. We’ve gone twice after our first visit, and it won’t be our last!

My fiancé and I were craving Mexican food and wanted to try a local place rather than a chain. We both had the Santa Fe Burrito. Him the chipotle chicken and me the Al pastor. Both meats/burritos were delicious. The rice was fluffy and tasty. The salsa verde and chips were delicious too. Looking forward to going back.

Top Rated Reviewer Yum! Authentic Mexican cuisine, down to the delightful smell of lemon cleaner. You’ll be reminded of a walk in Mercado 28! ️ The street tacos were overflowing so 2 was plenty, but 3 if you just can’t decide. The menu has lots of options and staff were super friendly. ♀️ Parking was easy, plus there’s a dry cleaners next store if you want to kill 2 birds with one stone. Loved it! ❤️
❤️ if helpful, thanks!

Finally a good Mexican Restaurant near by who also has some good burritos. I don’t know where this soggy tortilla and melted cheese idea on a burrito came from but it’s a no for me. This place offers you a good stuffed burrito with nothing on top and I can enjoy it as a burrito. Unlike other Mexican places near by when you ask no cheese on top and they hand you a flat tortilla with no filling. Also the flavoring is definitely a good touch not bland. It’s about Mid range in pricing definitely worth it so I never complained about how much I spent which is good. If I have to think about the pricing after I’m done eating I was disappointed and that does not describe this place. Will definitely be going back and bringing family here when they are in town. I grabbed the Santa Fe burrito with steak as my choice of meat
