Founded by a group of chef friends who dreamed of opening a burger joint, Tasty Burger opened its first location behind the historic Fenway Park in Boston, Mass. in 2010. A modern fast food neighborhood burger restaurant, Tasty Burger quickly became known as the city’s favorite spot to grab a great-tasting burger. I went to H Mart in Cambridge to buy groceries and also stopped by Tasty for the second time. This branch is bigger and newer than the Harvard Square one, but the taste experience wasn’t as good. This might be partly due to my order, and partly because the brand’s quality control needs improvement.
The Big Tasty: Tasty’s signature burger, a classic American burger. This time, the patty had a subtle smoky flavor, but the juiciness and temperature were only acceptable. Firstly, the onions and lettuce probably cooled the patty down quickly; secondly, I ordered online but was delayed by taking photos on the way, about three minutes late, possibly missing the optimal eating time.
Tater Tots: My first time trying it! The texture was similar to hash browns, and the small cylindrical design made it easy to dip in sauce. The downside was that it was a little greasy; I recommend pairing it with ketchup.

I have been here twice already and the burgers tasted absolutely tasty at a very reasonable price. The burger buns are well-roasted. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. You can even get free refills for the fountain drink. The indoor dining area is very spacious and chill, great for hanging out with friends or just eating by myself.

I was near central square and needed a quick bite to eat and found that Tasty Burger had a buy one get one free deal on Uber Eats. I highly recommend you visit and use the deal if you live around or want to try out a solid burger. The interior feels like a diner given the seating situation however the service is quick and efficient. Give it a try!

Definitely the worst lettuce wrap burger I’ve ever experienced. The lettuce doesn’t cover up the burger. Skipping the bun I guess makes for a bad burger experience. Actually this is a redo because the first burger they made forgot to include the tomato, and when I inquired about that the first suggestion was to refund and not to fix. Odd business practice.

This restaurant was a great place to take my kids out for dinner after an event. They really enjoyed their kids’ meals. My son had the hotdog dog kids’ meal, while my daughter had the hamburger kids’ meal. My son ordered onion rings, but they were floppy and not well-battered. The burger I ordered was delicious, and the milkshake was pretty good.
The only downside to the experience was the lack of soap in the restroom. The restroom is not very accessible for people who are shorter than my kids. It was hard for them to reach the soap dispenser and wash their hands. It would be great if the restaurant provided hand wipes or hand sanitizer, and if they moved the soap dispenser lower for kids and people in wheelchairs.
Overall, the food was great, and I will definitely revisit the restaurant in the future. I hope to see the changes they make and raise my rating accordingly.

came in around 10 minutes before close because i thought they closed an hour later, then i was promptly served a half raw burger that made me sick the entirety of the next day. adding to that, i was pressured to leave when i had no coat and it was a nice 20° outside. thanks!

I like this location because it not only has a dine in area, but there’s also a large seating area indoors for the take out side! Ordered take out from here and food was ready on time and was good! Workers were also friendly.

I don’t eat undercooked meat.
I will never eat here again!

My first time at a Tasty Burger. I thought the burger was just ok but the fries might be the best I’ve ever had. It’s probably because they do a nice job providing a lot of good sauces and seasonings at each table and the spicy ketchup is sooo good. I might come back just to have some more fries. Really good. This location has a nice atmosphere too with plenty of big tables and a bar with sports on TV.
