We have ordered their Amazing K-Wings, Barbecued Pork Fried Rice, and Vegetable Fried Rice on two separate occasions, and I must say, the servings were so generous and absolutely tasty too! I also love the amount of scallions in there!

Super love Jackie Inn! Will definitely get our Asian food cravings here. It never disappoints!

PS: I hope you add more flavors to the Amazing K-Wings!

I recently went to Jackie Inn for the first time and ordered Chicken Lo Mein, Beef Lo Mein, and Chicken Fried Rice. There was enough to feed several people and the food was delicious. I also ordered a pint of Penn State ice cream which also tasted great. As a Penn State Alumni, I was overjoyed to have the opportunity to get the famous ice cream so close to home. Thank you to John as well for being so kind & friendly. I highly recommend the Jackie Inn to all!

It’s a small serving counter with a table for eat-in. THIS IS A TYPICAL AMERICAN CHINESE-STYLE EATERY. It’s nothing authentic to any of Chinese regional cuisines.

A notable feature of this place is the shortish menu, unlike the typical very long tedious menu of chinese-style eateries…. It’s a sign at least of an attempt to “specialize” in a few dishes.

The Combination Lomien is probably among the best lomiens I’ve ever encountered in my travels.

– The noodles is spongy, not the usual starchy kind.
– The mixed protein is a generous proportion to the the noddles.
– Best of all, there’s very judicious use of soy sauce, and SURPRISINGLY HAS AN UMAMI FLAVOR.

The Buddha’s Delight is a mixed vegetable stir fry… fresh and al dente veggies with fried tofu.

– the BAD THING IS THE OVERUSE OF SAUCE…. It is overwhelming.

– WORST OF ALL, THE SAUCE IS SUGARY… pouring it off the plate is the only way to eat it.

The place is more a takeaway establishment… there are no restrooms if one chooses to use one when dining in.

Newer Spot in North Hills. I had high expectations per existing reviews, and expectations met.
It is pricier than standard Chinese takeout, but food quality far exceeds a normal takeout place.
I got Chicken / Broccoli and wonton soup. Both were outstanding, the amount of chicken received was massive. Feeds 2, maybe 3.
Packages eco-friendly, for those who appreciate that.
Can’t wait to try another dish in the future.

Passed this place 1000 times. Finally stopped and tried. I should have stopped the first time I passed this place. Phenomenal food. Everything was excellent. Do not pass it up. Chicken roll. Potstickers. ABC chicken, Lemongrass basil chicken. Chicken and broccoli.

First time person here. Excellent food. John is so friendly and accommodating. I felt like we became friends immediately. Super large portions of yummy food. I was there for my birthday and John gave me two giant scoops of ice cream to celebrate. Have recommended it to several people already. I love promoting local businesses. This is a fantastic place to eat. I can’t state enough how awesome the food is. Carol O

Love Jackie Inn! This is always my go-to for chinese food north of the city! Best wonton soup in the city! Fresh ingredients, never fails to impress. Their egg rolls are also crispy, flavorful, and well proportioned. The basil chicken is also delicious. It is not too spicy, however I have a pretty high spice tolerance so YMMV. So far, everything I have ordered has been delicious, fresh, and tasty. I have only ordered delivery, so I have not been in person, but it always manages to arrive hot and tasty, even with delays.

My husband and I came here for a casual dinner two Sundays ago and I’m still thinking about our experience. The food was exceptional and the chill atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for on a lazy Sunday evening. Every item we order was created with fresh ingredients and sauces that were definitely not from a jar, like most Asian restaurants. I highly recommend this place for take out or dine in. Just remember the dine in experience currently consists of two tables and the owner (who also works the counter) waits on you. If you’re not high maintenance and are patient then dine in is a solid option for you.

The food was okay. I live an hour away. Where I am this place would be incredible but there’s so many great options in the Pittsburgh area… Eh idk.

I enjoyed everything but nothing really wowed me. I ordered steamed pork bao, abc chicken and some ice cream.

Pork bao was okay. I ordered in a rush and was expecting char siu bao but my mistake. Good nonetheless.

Abc chicken was, again, pretty good. I wish they offered fried rice or lo mein as a side. And I see the review that’s critical of the “overuse of sauce.” Personally, I would have preferred the sauce a bit heavier. But that’s easy enough to add as a note if I order again.

I was quite disappointed with the ice cream portion though. I ordered on door dash where it clearly specified a pint. I ordered two pints. Both were pint containers but were only about half full.

Food is always good from there! Best Chinese food in the north Hills. As an added bonus, they carry Penn State creamery ice cream. Had lots of flavors to choose from. And everyone that works there’s always super nice and pleasant. I gave atmosphere of five cause it’s very clean inside. There’s not really seating there. It’s mostly takeout. They do however have one table. You can see six at and another table, you could sit for at. If you haven’t been there, you definitely need to give it a try
