ONLY CASH. Translation: This food is fricken legit and amazing. Ordering can be a bit of a challenge sometimes if you aren’t fluent in Spanish but if you’re kind and try to use some Spanish they’ll do the same with English. My girlfriend and I have a gone a few times and my Spanish vocabulary is growing with each visit! I 100% recommend this place to anyone craving Mexican food , this is not Tex-Mex by any means!

Was in the mood for something different and out of the norm saw this place driving by in the neighborhood never noticed it. Checked the reviews and gave it a try. It was the best authentic Mexican that I have ever had. I had the chicken fajita plate with rice and beans my husband had a beef burrito. Both portions were large I could only eat half my plate. Enough jalapeno that it was hot without being overwhelming. I poured the red sauce all over everything. Down side was that they don’t speak English and the menu is all in Spanish and you have to navigate by photos and the words you can recognize. I had cash since I read the reviews and was aware although yes somewhat inconvenient. Will be back though soon.

DELICIOUS!
After a few years (I used to live around here)
I’d came back to have dinner here and it was delicious!
Highly recommend this place, still a great antojitos full of flavors.
Thanks!

The food here is pretty good. However, the atmosphere and service needs some work. The girl working did as good as a job as she could, but she was the only one here. It’s not her fault that she was shorthanded.
Additionally, they only take cash. For whatever reason, they do not take credit cards at all. Pretty inconvenient these days.
The place is not very clean or tidy. The seats for the booths were dirty, and have seat covers that look like they were bought secondhand at a garage sale!
Overall, the experience was OK, but the ownership ought to consider putting a little more into this place!

I’ve been here three times and had three amazing dishes. The cuisine here is what I would call “real Mexican”– it’s not Tex-Mex, nor is it some chef’s hip modern take on Mexican that’s adapted for American palettes to the point that it loses its Mexican-ness. Instead, it’s an honest plate that tastes like something you’d eat if you were in a Mexican home in Hidalgo.
Note for my fellow Americanos: there’s a picture menu above the register. Use that if you don’t feel comfortable ordering in Spanish or you’ve been slacking on your Duolingo.

Went there the first night when I moved to Texas last week. They now have a New Regular Customer. Food is Great and the two young people I met that was working on the March 25 were so Sweet.

Not sure if they raised their prices but its cash only snd VERY expensive for small plates. It’s cash only but their dishes are quite expensive compared to restaurants equivalent in the area. The one time I did eat there, it was bland. Each time I walk by it’s empty.

I had the Caldo de Pollo to go. The soup didn’t have any flavor, only had 1/4 of a potato, 2 pieces of carrots, couple of cabbage leaves, 1 chicken leg and thigh. However, it didn’t come with rice. It did have about 6 tortillas (the small ones that they use for tacos). Other restaurants that serve Caldo de Pollo serve it with rice. Maybe if they served it with rice, I wouldn’t have to make a sandwich to satisfy my hunger.
