Great service on my first very first visit to Sweet Green. Now knowing what to order, Mia did an excellent job of guiding and making recommendations. The food was fresh, the right temperature and there is enough variety in the ingredients not to be bored of their selection. Would recommend to anyone looking for a delicious and quick alternative for lunch or even dinner.

My first visit here. I ordered the miso salmon. It came with rice, half an avocado, cucumbers, pickled ginger, fried onion and a cashew sauce. Pros: There was a line, but the service was quick. My salmon plate was sort of an odd pairing and I would give it a 3 in terms of flavor had it not been for the cashew sauce. The sauce brings the entire dish together. It’s a slight sweet and spicy sauce that works well on the salmon and rice. The plate was a total of 35 grams of protein but felt really light. Cons: I’m pescatarian so there weren’t many options for me outside of the salmon or just building your own salad.

After my second visit I feel I have to be loud about how fabulous the level of service and how outstanding the employees have been each visit. For a 3.0 review I feel they have been played short (I mean the Oak Brook location has been more of a disappointment)“Who closes 2 hours before closing time, with no sign posted or any regards to any customers time and travel Since I was driving twenty minutes away to get dinner. Nothing was posted on online.
Anyways, ever feel for a great and fresh salad with great customer service. Make that drive ❤️

I got AWFUL food poisoning after ordering from the Sweetgreen on Lake St in Oak Park on 1/28/26. I ordered the Miso Salmon bowl and the Fish Taco bowl and I believe it was the salmon from both that absolutely destroyed my stomach. I’ve suffered from terrible poisoning symptoms for the past 2 days since eating there. I reached out to customer service and did not receive a reply about a refund yet. I’m never eating here again

I visited today for the first time Nov 24 and there was a lil black, light skinned, woman with glasses the shortest server in there and she waited on me reluctantly bevause i was a lilttle confused as to what i jad irdered and ask if it would be okay if she changed it she had only used one ingredient! Her attitude and the condescending way she talk to me really hurt my feelings after she made my salad she proceeded to waited on a little boy and praised him for knowing exactly what he wanted and said that he is much better than some adults who come in all confused as she turned her head looking and speaking telepathically with her coworker for encouragement if i weren’t sick i would have commented but sometimes you have to pick your battles

I’ve ordered here many times and I really love their salads. I plan to continue to go here but it’s extremely challenging to get to with the predatory parking lot, as others have mentioned, that they are in. I’ve only parked and had to pay there once but I see a lot of tow trucks just waiting to scoop people up. It’s a very odd way of paying as well and is very time-consuming for people just wanting to pick up a salad. Nevertheless, I still find myself going here but we will only use this parking lot if there is no other parking within a two block radius. Hopefully the location can move to a much better area. They are great

Love the food but service was a little slow. They were swamped with online orders and didn’t pay much attention to the walk up customers. I love the wild rice and sweet potato. The workers were nice but they were just too overwhelmed with the online and door dash stuff.

This review is about the restaurant only. Food is so delicious, I had one of the best salads of my life. Service is nice, people were kinda, except for one person but is okay. It was clean and have everything i needed. The parking situation is another story, is terrible.

The food is ok, nothing great, but not bad. It’s reasonably healthy, but if you need it in a reasonable amount of time, this is not your place. It’s very understaffed and normal to be #20 in line waiting for a carry out online order that will take an hours to get. It’s pathetic! Oh well, it’s off my lunch list for good. Hopefully when it eventually goes out of business, a restaurant will move in that knows how to staff and manage a restaurant.
