Definitely one of the best places to get something to eat on the Iowa State University campus. Today there was the option of steak with rice or fajitas, and obviously your boy got both options and can you guess? They were both delicious as balls. The desserts are also pretty great, the strawberry ice cream is goated it makes me want to scream without the s.

I did observe the windows and have disproved the historical allegations of false advertising. Food is good. People are good as well. Great staff.

Great food and great service always. I’m a student at Iowa State and the workers here are always attentive to my allergies at the ice cream station. They have cleaned the scoop and changed their gloves for me when an ice cream containing treenuts is present. Lainey is a valuable shift manager here. She’s a friend of mine and is always positive and a great leader at work. She has saved both my cat from a tree and brought my dog back to me after he ran after a squirrel. I do miss the pudding in the salad line, that’s always a favorite of mine! Favorite dining on campus.

Best of the 3 dining halls on campus and it’s not even close. Their butter chicken is easily my favorite thing I’ve ever eaten, and they also put out some incredible Italian meatballs, tikka masala, Chinese foods, and gyro meat, depending on the day. When they don’t have any of that, there’s usually some kind of rice or chicken available, and they also have pizza during all hours of operation that is WORLDS better than the crappy ones they make at Seasons/UDM. Finally, a variety of desserts including great ice cream 24/7 that’s made by local farms and rotates flavors, from chocolate chip to coffee to sherbets to just plain old french vanilla. They’re also happy to accomodate dietary needs or refill condiments, if you ask — just as the other two dining halls are. Only drawback is that the late-night hours here (M-Th, 7:30-11:00 PM) offer less choices for obvious reasons, so always go earlier to avoid that if you want, or check the menu online first. Big ups to the ISU Dining team… you guys know what you’re doing!!!

Came for windows, but had to sit in overflow seating. Got to see zero windows; false advertisement.
Food wasn’t bad though, mushroom stroganoff is pretty good.

The best dining center on campus nowadays, by far. Still a little overpriced (if you’re paying cash) but honestly the food is reasonable quality and is about what I would expect from a mid-level restaurant in general. Tofu was surprisingly good, would recommend.

Great food compared to the other dining halls on campus. Healthy options, consistently does not run out of food or silverware, and you do not see the same dish twice in one week. The only possible negative is that the drink options are not that extensive.

Honestly, this is one of the less desirable dining halls here at Iowa State University. The inside is nice and comfertable, and the staff are nice, but it is quite small. Small dining centers do not have many food options, which I have found to be true at Window’s. I did not really care for the options there the few times I’ve gone, so I would very highly recommend checking the menu before dining there. It’s not terrible, there are just better dining centers at Iowa State, in my opinion.

Generally a good place. But sometimes the pizza is burned to a crisp. I wish it was open Friday to Sunday for late night. I also wish there was more variety every night. Otherwise it’s a good place.
