Best place you can get a whole full course meal, a meat, two vegetables and a drink. $12 used to be $11 but with the price and cost of everything now they had to go up and they only went up a dollar which is really appreciated nowadays. Best customer service and that you’ll ever have food is cooked fresh

My GRANDFATHER, C.L. LITTLE IS THE MAN THAT ORIGINALLY BUILT THIS PLACE! HE HAD THE BEST CHEESEBURGERS IN TOWN, IT WAS CURB HOP! What a great, out of the way, hole in the wall place. We had North Carolina “all the way” burgers and onion rings. Burger, Cole slaw, chilli, onions and Cheese on a bun. What a sloppy delicious mess. The onion rings were great too. This is a place not to miss. True southern hospitality in a very relaxed atmosphere.

Was passing through the area on the way back from the mountains so we found this place by searching restaurants in the area. On the outside the restaurant doesn’t look like much but has a very divey feel. On the inside it’s really cool and has a very old time comforting feeling. Very clean and the burgers and hot dogs were awesome and just what you would want from a place like that. Also, the ladies working there (the cook and the waitress) were both extremely nice and welcoming which was nice when you are in a new area.

The Lunch Box has been around for decades, shows its age, but I wouldn’t change a thing. As to food, the menu has five weekly specials. Burgers are a big seller equal to any $15 burger but half the price. I shared the Wednesday. Special beef stew on rice, pinto beans, and cabbage with my partner as we are petite eaters… Mamma, take me home:) nothing fancy, just satisfying home cooked fare. If you get a chance, a must stop along the less traveled road.

Went today with bf and had a great experience ! Servers/Staff were super nice and food was really good ! Onion rings were big and crispy ! Not greasy . Enjoyed our bacon cheeseburgers . They load it up with thick bacon and not the one or two skinny little strands ! I also loved the cozy , friendly atmosphere. We plan on coming back .
