LOVE this place. They have a wonderful selection of fudges, pies, cakes and now spices to choose from. Their lasagna and chicken pot pies are absolutely amazing as well as their chicken and pasta salads. Not to mention how sweet they are!!! I go at least once a week now.

Stopped in and purchased the carrot cake slice, toffee and lemon bar. The carrot cake was ok at best. Publix carrot cake is much better. As for the toffee and lemon bar both went in the trash terrible. This was my first and last visit there

Very small and homey feeling bakery. Multiple delicious items to choose from. I tried 3 of the cakes (strawberry, 12 layer chocolate, and pig pickin cake). All of them were very delicious. The 12 layer was especially good since it had the consistency and taste of a fudgy brownie YUM! The strawberry cake was also packed full of flavor and super moist. As someone who loves to cook and bake, I can tell they put a lot of effort and love into their products.

The Swiss chocolate cake slice we shared was large enough for two. And it was so light and airy. The whipped frosting was not overly sweet and balanced the chocolate flavor well. Highly recommend this!!!

Friendly people and great cake! If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop for a slice of cake! I would highly recommend the Swiss chocolate. It’s a favorite of my family.

We wanted a homemade cake for a friend who celebrated their birthday with us at Oak Island. Chris Townsend provided the BEST COCONUT CAKE EVER! So moist, beautiful, and not so sweet. This was a perfect cake. I am a baker and I don’t think I could have done any better. This was a big hit with our friends. It was a large cake and we thought there would be lots left over. After two days, there wasn’t much left! Thank you Nancy Jo’s! Fabulous cake!

Nancy Jo’s Bakery is a perfect place to pick up a cake. You know how sometimes you just want a cake but didn’t think to plan ahead. Nancy Jo’s has slices, half cakes and whole cakes ready to purchase. A large selection, classics like red velvet, chocolate/chocolate, pig pickin’ cake, carrot cake, 100 layer yellow cake with chocolate frosting. There’s also candy, cheese straws and dipped cookies. Don’t arrive empty handed if you are heading to someone’s beach house. Stop in for a few sweets.

Wonderful homemade type birthday cake from Nancy Jo’s bakery… We ordered the “pig piking” which was delectable as well as the “Swiss Chocolate.” Both were super fresh, not overly sweet, and tasted like the baker used traditional quality ingredients. Thank you Nancy Jo’s.
