The atmosphere is cute! Not great seating if you have a larger group, though. The service was pretty “meh.” Bartenders were not very welcoming or enthusiastic about their job – the servers for the actual dining area were much friendlier.
Speakeasy vibes and at least $15 per drink. My partner didn’t love his vodka lemonade blackberry cocktail, but I got the After Hours cocktail and it was yummy (pictured)!

Update: Went back in on 12/11 and the drinks were stronger. Thanks for addressing that! And the bartender was great and knowledgeable about the items in the bar.
Speak Easy located in Canon City. Great smoked Old Fashioned. Needs to be stronger tho, other than that it was fantastic.
Recommend you carry Deerhammer Bourbon (Buena Vista), it’s the best Colorado Bourbon out there. I believe they can assist with the creation of great drinks to add to your menu as well.

Jeremy is hands down the best bartender in Canon City! He knows his stuff behind the bar and is very knowledgeable about the craft that goes into each cocktail. His drinks are consistent every time we come in and he is very pleasant to chat with!

There are some special cocktails mixed with some average joes for those who need those. Each bartender we have encountered has their own flare and brings something unique to each experience.
The place is open to the public and has the classic dream childhood bookcase entrance.
The menu is always changing with the seasons, so you can get a variety of experiences throughout the year. Highly recommend an adventure here and enjoy this special place Cañon is lucky enough to have.

We went for drinks and we were blown away! We tried 3 different drinks (Pretty and Punchy, Cowboy Jam, and Shooting Starr). They were all absolutely delicious, but the Shooting Starr was spectacular. It was fruity with a hit of chocolate. Even my husband, who doesn’t really drink, wanted to order his own after tasting mine. This place is a new favorite!
