How I have not noticed this place is beyond me, but that changed today, lol. Took boyfriend’s mom to hearing appointment next door and afterwards, we went to grab a bite to eat. The atmosphere walking in was very nice. Ven welcomed us in with a smile. We sat down. We were still trippin out about not realizing the Gem was here. Ven was very courteous and attentive. Once we ordered our food, the wait was not long at all. Food not only looked good, but it tasted GREAT!
I will definitely be returning ☺️. Oh yeah, those croissant donuts were omg, mouth watering, make you drool , oh so good, yummy yum!!
My boyfriend’s mom had the cheesesteak melt and grits. She said it was best she’s had in a very long time.
I had the chicken fried steak breakfast. Best around, in my humble opinion!!

I had a Eggcellent experience here. See what I did there . The staff was very friendly and inviting as soon as I walked in. Polite, cheery, and well mannered. The restaurant was very clean and organized. They have a well balanced menu with some surprises you won’t normally find on a typical breakfast menu. The server was there when I needed her. The food came out hot and fresh with good visual presentation and organizational on the plate. I would say A++, I’ll definitely dine again the next time I’m in town. Definitely recommend.

Went to breakfast with my MIL and we LOVED it. The staff was so friendly and prompt. The menu had a good variety and was reasonably priced. The atmosphere was clean, bright and happy! Our food was piping hot and tasted great. We tried the Carmel crunch latte and it was so so so good! No complaints and I look forward to going back to try more things.

Went for the first time today and the food was great! My husband and I both ordered the shrimp and grits bowl and an order of the home fries. Portions are pretty big and the food was served quickly. The atmosphere was family friendly and service was great. They have some different things on their menu that I want to try out so we will be back!

First 2 experiences were great and was hypying this place up to my friend on how much I would recommend them. This was my third time here. I placed an order through there website at 10:05am for Athens. Email showed my order was ready at 10:12 for pickup. Got here at 10:35am. I literally stood and waited from 10:35 to 11:25am. In between being told my order was up next which it wasn’t to being told maybe I ordered it the wrong establishment and be a confused with a doordasher. For the most part I was ignored with no acknowledgement of my wait or urgency to see why an order i placed online at 10:05 took to almost 11:30 to be brought to me. I watched waitresses speak to those seated close to me, check on those who were eating and made sure they were good with a big smile on their face while they walked past me and not checking on why i had been standing in their establishment for so long. Watching others come in place orders be seated finish their food and leave and I’m still waiting. Only to be told my order apparently was not in the system or either somebody took my order. I stood there so long to the point I was starting to feel sick because I had not eaten anything yet. This was a horrible experience. And will never come back! They definitely need more people working there. I saw way too many people standing waiting to be seated but probably not as long as me since I was in there for almost an hour. There was no urgency about the fact that I have been standing for so long and my food that I ordered an hour prior was still not ready. I went from happy to being there to anger at the end! I could have asked for a refund but looking at the lack of help, I felt it would have been too much of a hassle to get any one to help me. Just an overall horrible experience!

Easy pesy, this restaurant has so many choices, we hadn’t ordered yet and already decided we will have to come back to try the rest of the menu, the food was delicious, and Amy was the best

I really give it a 4.5 star review. To me the price was a little extreme. $13 for what I got. Don’t get me wrong it was really good. But, $10 would have been more reasonable. As my husband got a philly omelet for $14 and his had meat in it.
I got the Greek Goddess, which was an egg white substance with mushrooms, spinach, onions, and tomatoes. I also got it with their home fries, which were the BEST part of the meal.
The atmosphere was great, and the servers were all very helpful. I did try their latte, and wasn’t a fan, as it was a little TOO sweet for me (should have known with the sweet crème label, haha, my bad!). They were accommodating with switching it out for me to just regular coffee, which was also nice that they had flavored creamer pods to add in.
Just let me know what you season your home fries with please. haha Although I felt like it was a little pricey for what we got, it was still an overall great experience.
