I order the same drink everytime, but every time it never tastes the same. One day it’s perfect the next day it’s so bitter I have to throw it away. Consistency is not there. I understand they get exceptionally busy but customers don’t deserve to have drinks made half assed. I would much rather wait 10 extra minutes to make sure it tastes right then have the employees rush through it and make me waste $8. Taking it back inside and asking it to be remade, you can see the annoyance on the employees faces plus I’ve been in there while the employees talk shit about customers…. So I’ll pass on going there ever again.

Super cute atmosphere! I would say the wait is a bit longer than other Starbucks and my drink (Vanilla sweet cream cold brew, light sweet cream, caramel lined cup) always comes out perfect but there is a 75% change my husbands order is wrong. He always gets a cafe vanilla frap and they often do vanilla bean frap which is pretty different and but when you correct them, its obvious they guess so the best thing we can do is just get him a caramel frap so avoid paying so much for a drink the isn’t correct.

I want to love this place because it’s the closest Starbucks, but no matter what I get they always mess up the orders. Idk if they are too busy or short staffed, but every drink I get, their espresso shots have “died” tasting burnt, stale, and bitter, even when I order Ristretto shots. Shots can become unpalatable in under a minute once poured (when they lose their crema froth and their color darkens/ gets less golden) and so unless the shots are being poured directly into the drink’s water or milk they really need to shake a leg pouring the shots before the shots have the chance to oxidize and lose their flavor compounds, or get their equipment recalibrated. Going to take a break from this store awhile and hope the quality improves- Way too expensive to get something that doesn’t even taste good.

I have always enjoyed a good Starbucks in the morning. I was excited to see they finally opened one here in Alton. When they first opened, the employees were great. As time has gone on, the service has been lacking in quality and the male manager along with a few employees are somewhat rude and condescending. This is customer service people! If you don’t like humans then quit and stop making fun of your paying customers. It’s off putting and down right mean!
