Beautiful views, a convenient location, and lots of parking spaces—how can I not have a good time here? If you’re looking for a place that is close to the city but quiet and big enough for lots of people, this is a perfect spot. They have clean restrooms, picnic tables, and BBQs available at the spots. Its first-served parking lot is big. So it is easy to park your car close to your party.

Love to come here on my bike ride, to stop and relax and hang out by the beach or along the shoreline and take in the beautiful scenery and wildlife. Plenty of trees for shade, along with picnics tables near the shore, lots of parking spots and clean bathrooms. Watch out for rattlesnakes that I’ve seen on a couple of occasions laying out among the rock formations and on the trail.

Folsom Lake at Beals Point pictures. Lake is 92% full but some unmarked hazards just below water surface. Nice day for kayaking 07/08/19.

I love this place. They have picnic tables…bbq pits…a sandy beach area…life guards…a snack bar…they even rent large swan floaties ect. I am not sure of the prices..I did not check. It is a very nice place to bring your raft… tubes..kayak…ect. the water is pretty calm on this side…not many boats.
A woman on the beach told me the rental place will even blow up your rafts for a small fee.
Many families come to this part. It is kind friendly. There is shallow beach area all along the lake here for kids. Not a rocky area at all.
The life guards come out of you get to close to the buoys. I saw them paddle to many children to close to them.
If you have small children and looking for a good part of folsom lake to take the kids…Beal’s point is a great place.
They also have campgrounds here. I am not sure of the price. I have never camped.
The daily pass to park here is 12.00 per vehicle. If you are bringing in a boat or jet skis the price increases..not sure how much more…

The Lake and River are absolutely awesome but be extremely careful especially when the water is up like it is now Folsom and Sacramento Water Rescue have as of last week already had to perform more water rescues than all of last Summer and Summer doesn’t even officially start for 3 more weeks
