Metro Diner is one of those places that never disappoints! The food is consistently great with hearty portions, fresh ingredients, and tons of flavor. Kristina M was absolutely amazing working the bar next to the kitchen on November 8th. She was attentive and very informative about the menu items. I usually prefer a table seat but her and the food line made the bar the place to be and have a great meal experience with their friendly attitude and extremely efficient food service. Angie the manager working the food line clearly has a passion for food and working with people as well.

We’ve been to this location three times and each time we’ve had Kirsten as our server. She’s beyond Amazing!! We love her! She’s sweet, funny, super attentive, and always helps us get exactly what we want and end up loving it. She helped me customize my breakfast plate to something even better than what I had originally asked for! The food is ALWAYS incredible… PERFECT!

Food is always on time , prepared with culinary excellence, with a smile starting from the hostess desk, to the table to the departure. . We are traveling through the area, and got here at the busiest time on a Sunday, but the wait was still only about 15 minutes. It was worth it. The staff and our waitress were very pleasant and helpful. We ordered a full breakfast and a breakfast bowl, and both were exactly as described and very nicely done. The hollandaise sauce was very good, the grits were seasoned and needed no additional salt and butter. We got a bread pudding to share for dessert, and the bread was a bit stiff/chewy, but overall it was delicious.

Great service. Okay food. I’ve been going to Metro since there was only one. Maybe my taste in food has changed over the years, or maybe the food quality has. Who knows? I ordered the poutine, Philly Cheese steak with onion rings and a fruity waffle. The poutine was pretty good. The cheesesteak was just okay. It lacked seasoning and flavor. The bread was soft but could’ve used a little toasting on the outside. The onion rings were lacking flavor. The waffle was pretty good. Our server was amazing, friendly and personable. GO JAGS!! All in all, it seems the menu selection and food quality has gone down. Go back to what made you guys famous, and bring back the Yo Hala bread!!

I have been coming to Metro Diner almost my whole life. Although this location hasn’t been open long, it has quickly become one of my favorite spots. I always end up going the perfect time when it’s so cozy and easy to enjoy your meal! The hostess Kadyn was one of the most sweetest girls I’ve met and our server Kristen was so attentive to us and checked in frequently! Highly recommend!!

Went here on a Saturday for lunch, place was pretty busy, but we were sat right away. Got the metro cheese fries to start and they were delicious. My wife got the Ruben and it was incredible. It was made perfectly with just the right amount of meat/bread ratio. I got the grilled cheese with bacon and the corn chowder soup with shrimp. Both items were good. It’s nice having a good diner in town. Would definitely visit again soon.

The food at this location is always well prepared and fast. The servers are all friendly. We especially like Stephanie who has been our server a few times. She is particularly on the ball, friendly and does a great job. This is my favorite Metro to go to as it is very clean, has friendly staff and great cooks. You can’t beat the prices and the quality is great.
