disappointed, food lacked flavor though meats were cooked thru properly , don’t like the cabbage and i love cabbage adding frozen mixed veggies is the issue onions, bell peppers, thyme and shaved carrots would be much better. biggest issue hair in my food! all restaurants need strict hygiene standards, wear gloves hair nets & masks while prepping food.

I catered my Thanksgiving with Caribbean Patty World, a decision I made after having one of their jerk turkey legs at the Conklin Fair. Got the Rasta pasta on the side—I got to spend my holiday with my friends having great food from a place that is truly a pillar in our community.

I’m not impressed. My Wife bought me this at an event for me to try at home and I wanted to immediately return, but unfortunately the park venue was too crowded to be worth trudging through…$25 for 1 very dry poorly seasoned beef jerky like piece of chicken, less than 1/4th of a cup of rice, 8oz of juice, and the driest pastries I’ve ever tried. We wanted beef patties but ironically enough they ran out. I was physically in pain trying to get the taste out of my mouth from that not only dry but burnt piece of chicken, I thought to myself ” let me have a pastry to change the taste in my mouth” but instead I got a mouth full of the Sahara desert.

Caribbean Patty World has never failed me ANYTIME I visit. My husband and I always stop bye for a bite when visiting Binghamton and we believe it’s the best JAMAICAN food in town . Surpasses all the other “Caribbean” places for sure. Always grab a few Bokkle of Sorrel to go! Big up yourself, Tanya . Will always return when in town.

Went here during restaurant week, best food I’ve had in a while! Excellent curry seasoning, chicken so tender it falls off the bone with ease. I look forward to eating here again.

I will not be returning. I came by today after an hour drive and asked for oxtail. Apparently they only make it at certain times because it was not available. Okay… fine I’ll do curry chicken. I asked for 2 large curry chickens with white rice, no plantain and cabbage on both.. I got the wrong order. He gave me the 2 larges with plantains and rice and peas…. Okay… I then asked for 2 large Mac and cheeses… and I kid you not, those pictures are what I got for 8 DOLLARS EACH! Oh. Menu prices are not correct as well. I expected to pay at most 60 for my whole order (there were more items) but it came up to 85 DOLLARS. Oh not worth it at all. Never spend your money here.

On occasion, I get takeout from here. The oxtail platter and brown stew chicken platters are pretty darned great.

This is my first review, so you know it’s bad if I take time to do this. I recently went to their venue booth (7/08/23). I was charged $40 FOR 4 PIECES OF OXTAILS and one piece of chicken chopped into pieces. One pack of oxtail at the supermarket is $8-$10 and chicken is $5lb. They are rip off jamericans with disgusting, unprofessional attitudes and they only pack your plate when you’re a man they’re attracted to. Might I add as a jamaican myself their food is NOT AUTHENTIC but lack of competition makes them the only choice. I’ll force my lazy backside to cook at home to get real west indian food.

I liked the flavor of the curry chicken and cabbage, the rice n peas was also tasty. The sweet fried plantains were a bit rubbery and I would’ve liked more; I picked a lot of bone shards out of the chicken. Both me and my mom liked the sorrel drink very much. Unrelated to the food: please turn down the music it was way too loud to the point it was hard to hear what the other person was saying
