I recently visited Menagerie Foods in Warminster, PA, and was impressed by the authenticity of the Jamaican food they serve. It’s a takeout-only spot, so I highly recommend calling ahead — the food is ready for pick-up in about 20 minutes. It’s a simple, no-frills place, which I really appreciate because they focus on perfecting what’s on the menu.
The Oxtail Platter is definitely my favorite, though it’s a bit pricey for the amount of meat you get. The Curry Goat Platter is also solid and reasonably priced. I wasn’t as thrilled with the Chicken Rasta Pasta, though — it’s a little on the spicy side and was dry when I got it. It could definitely use more sauce to balance out the heat and add some moisture.

Menagerie Foods is a true gem!
We had the jerk chicken, oxtail (and oxtail empanadas!), beef and jerk chicken patties, rice and peas with gravy, and cabbage — everything was flavorful and absolutely delicious. The oxtail was tender, the rice and peas were on point, and the cabbage blend was perfectly seasoned.
The owner is friendly and prepares everything fresh right in front of you, which makes the experience even better. Perfect Sunday-after-church spot — leave the cooking behind and enjoy a home-cooked meal.
Can’t wait to come back and try the red snapper and salmon!

Every dish tastes rich, flavorful , and rooted in tradition- the kind of food that feels like home from the very first bite. From the seasoning to the presentation, you can tell care and culture go into every plate.
Beyond the incredible food, the customer service is absolutely top-notch. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making the entire dining experience even more memorable.

First time here last night. We got jerk salmon, oxtail empanadas, rice and peas, mac, yams, cabbage and greens. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!.. the greens were phenomenal; perfectly seasoned1000/10. The oxtail was so flavorful and rich but not greasy. 1000/10 The rice and peas was even more delicious with the brown oxtail gravy. The yams were sweet and spiced, but not too sweet. The mac & cheese was really good…. cheesy…. The owner/chef spoke to us the whole time he was making our food and is super chill/ laid back. I will come back to this spot every time I want Jamaican….

Got a small jerk chicken with the rice and peas and cabbage. Everything was fantastic. Even the plantains were amazing, and I’m not a fan of plantains.
The beef patty was so flaky and delicious.
The owners were very nice and personable and had good taste in music.

Wow!! Tremendous flavor on everything. The greens and jerk chicken we’re definitely a favorite among other dishes. Each meal is cooked to order so have a little patience. Great find in the Warminster, Pa area.

*Licking my fingers* Oxtails are sooo good…tender and juicy. Worth every dollar. They were hot and delicious fresh out the pot. I got extra gravy , but I’m sure they would have been just as good if I didn’t. I was only able to eat half of the platter because you are full so quickly after a few bites. 10/10

The chicken Rasta pasta is my go to along with a beef or chicken patty. On top of the pasta is a spicy, flavorsome sauce along with chicken and some other unknown, but delicious fillings.
For $15, for a large you can’t beat that deal. Can get a minimum of 2 meals out of it! The owner is cool as well. 10/10 recommend
