GG’spot is a new, low key, chill spot. The food was pretty good. Especially, their pineapple dish! I feel the fried chicken needs a little more seasoning, but it was piping HOT when brought out which was a plus. The drinks are decent, the pour is moderate. There’s plenty of parking and the owner is super friendly. I can only expect for this place to get better as they are pretty good now. Good vibes

This was my first time going and I treated my best friend for her birthday!We went to brunch and the food and drinks were amazing!Tamika ,our mixologist and server was amazing!!Arrive early so you can get a seat!will definitely like to have a future event there soon!!

Customer Service can make or break an experience.
The food was surprisingly delicious but the overall experience was overshadowed by poor customer service. My husband and I were not greeted as we entered in, in fact we had to speak first and sat ourselves. We were unsure as to who worked there initially because it took a while for one of the three individuals sitting around to finally approach us. There were no menus available to us… we were given food choices and prices by mouth from our waiter. They only had catfish, chicken, and fries to serve and nothing else.
The overall vibe was unpleasant due to the lack of warmth of the workers which made us feel slightly uncomfortable. This might be a better place to go just for drinks at the bar after work instead of for a dine out experience.

Food is absolutely mouth watering and portioned to satisfy. Made to order so you don’t have to worry about it not being hot. The owner is a very kind and down to earth person. Great quality, clean environment , and awesome music. Highly recommend!

GG’s Spot Bar & Grill is owned by a African American woman who allows her staff to disrespect other women. Why do I say that? Well, my friends and I went to this establishment to patronize their Whiskey Wednesday Cocktail Hour and what we got was disrespect, humiliation, and hollering from the DJ over a table. The owner G. Griffith could not control him or de-escalate the situation. She went back to the kitchen where she was the cook for the night and to complete food orders no regarding for us as customers, professionalism or her place of business. There was no urgency to resolve the situation. We will NEVER GO BACK AND YOU SHOULD NOT GO THERE BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT BE VALUED OR RESPECTED!!!!!

Came for the first time to eat and drink. Was asked an hour later if my party could move because another party came but didn’t have an option for us. The Dj then came over and got loud and ignorant yelling putting his had in our face saying what’s the problem. Then owner had to come calm him down and ask him to leave us alone. We left after that

I met friends for lunch and we had a blast.
The cocktails were tasty; well made, not weak but not overly strong. The food was good. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was tasty. I would highly recommend it.
The atmosphere was festive. They had a DJ that played nice music at a nice volume. We were able to talk without yelling and groove when we felt like it.
I would highly recommend this place.

Went a few weeks ago and it was blah not too busy we had egg rolls they were good. And the drinks weren’t good and the bartender was too busy talking to her friends at the bar to pay attention to us at the table. I decided to try again last week on Wednesday got there about 515pm and it was empty It was 2 workers there a woman sitting there eating chips and a man on the other end. Nobody said anything as I sat and waited. The man gets up goes behind the bar and puts out plastic cups on the counter and then sat back down. Nobody addressed me for the 5 mins I sat there. So I then left and went to the bar a few doors door and had great service! I will not try this place again
