Excellent Thai food restaurant that I regret not trying sooner! The spice level was perfect, and the ingredients were fresh. They were pretty busy, so the service was a little slow, but overall it was an amazing experience!! Would highly recommend this place. Plenty of seating, easy to navigate parking lot, and a nice atmosphere.

Waited about 30 minutes before getting our food. I understand restaurants can get busy, but the service and communication were disappointing.

While we were still ordering, the server asked if we needed more time, which felt rushed. Water was never refilled. When we asked about the long wait, the response was defensive, and we were told we could cancel the order instead. We were also given a vague estimate of “5–10 more minutes,” which didn’t feel confident or reassuring.

When the food was finally served, there was no explanation or acknowledgment.

As for the food: it was okay, but not especially good, and the portion size was smaller than expected for the price.

Overall, the issue wasn’t just the wait time but the attitude and lack of basic service. With better communication, this could have been a much better experience

The food was delish! Portion size was huge. Atmosphere was ok at best. Definitly a mom and pop restaurant. Gives the flavor more an authentic flair.
I would return!

Fresh spring rolls with tofu or one of my favorite foods. And this place makes the best spring rolls I’ve had in this town. They are absolutely divine! I’ve only tried a couple of other things and they were both very good as well. I hope people will support this restaurant. And if you love spring rolls, this is the place!

Hands down, the best Thai restaurant in Champaign — maybe even in all of Illinois. This place feels like a hidden gem that many people might not know about. But once you try it, you’ll keep coming back — that’s how good the food is. I personally love their Spicy Basil Fried Rice and Pho. If you’re into spicy food, I highly recommend choosing the highest spice level (thai spicy) to really enjoy the full depth of flavor.

Sorry for the messed-up picture of the basil fried rice – I couldn’t resist trying it out before taking a pic to post!

The food was amazing. We had the gree thai curry with chicken which came with a side of rice and the basil fried rice. The wait time is longer (I guess because they make things fresh). Chef’s kiss 🙂

Loved the food. Authentic Thai. Delicious. And be humble when ordering the heat level. The pad Thai was excellent. As was the papaya salad. And for a treat we got the sticky rice with mango, a total winner as well. One thing to note: they do not have a liquor license so no beer or alcoholic drinks to go with the food.

The best or my favorite Thai curry is here! I’ve been in champaign three years, taste a lot but this curry is obviously different from others, more rich and special. And also they have mousse bear, soooo cute and delicious dark chocolate! Love it!

Absolutely amazing food, full stop. My husband and I have now been here twice while traveling back home on vacation and each time our dishes have been made fresh, on the spot, to our specific spice level needs. Typically, I will order the spiciest version of whatever I eat, regardless of the cuisine or cultural authenticity represented in its preparation. THIS IS THE ONLY RESTAURANT I ORDER ONE LESSER THAN THE SPICIEST OPTION PROVIDED FOR CONSUMPTION. In the entire continental U.S. and Hawaii. They are not kidding when advertising “Thai spicy” is indeed just that and, while it is absolutely divine to taste, please please please remember your dinner must exit you after digestion. I strongly recommend getting one level less spicy than you normally would choose and requesting to add your own dried pepper flakes at the table if you end up desiring more heat. That being said, the quality of any dish you order is bound to be the best you can find anywhere in the state–and likely the country. Extremely fresh ingredients, properly sticky rice, steaming spring rolls, glass noodles perfectly cooked, and everything in generous portions for the price point. If you enjoy mild spice, Pad Thai with barbeque pork and glass noodles served “less spicy” is a great choice (and what my better half ordered today). If you’re tastebros are made of war crimes and desire a punishing amount of delicious heat, get the Tom Kha Kai “more spicy” and eat it like a soup, sans rice, with two spoons of pepper flakes. That’s my go-to. 😉 Regardless of your choice, you will find the absolute best Thai anywhere provided by kind, attentive folks who know exactly how to run a restaurant. We’ll be back so long as this establishment is in operation. ♡
