Did a delivery order on the phone and ordered Rick’s wings and a papa deluxe pizza. Little did we know that the Waterloo location doesn’t have a fryer so they can’t make them. We were never told that on the phone. We get our delivery and we had hot wings smothered in sauce. I can’t do spicy like that so needless to say I had to throw them away. I called to tell them and the answer was we don’t make those so obviously you can’t order them. Great that would have been nice to know instead of wasting money on food I tossed in the trash. I would have ordered the toasted ravs or salad. I asked to talk to the manager apprently her name is barb that I have now found out is the owner said they would call us back and still no word I called again and still nothing, super sad because I usually love the food but my first time ordering in Waterloo and you don’t know what you don’t know so I wish they at the time would have stated no ricks wings because I wouldn’t have wasted my money. An it’s sad they are just ok with a customer not being happy when we should have been told hey we one have Buffalo is that still ok?

DON’T EVER EAT at PAPA VITO’S in Waterloo!!!
WORST SERVICE and was treated EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFULLY!!! I was quoted 1hr-1hr 10 mins… Over 2 hours later I my food delivered to have liquid in the bottom of the box!!! The crust was mush like soggy bread!!! The manager wouldn’t talk to me on the phone, they wanted to take my name and number to call me another time and they also REFUSED to deliver a new pizza to me!!!
I drove there and there are NO CUSTOMERS just 10-15 employees and the manager or owner standing around the counter… No one ever apologized and he refused to give money back. He said he’d call me tomorrow and work it out… I said that I wasn’t leaving without him refunding my money or voiding the debit card.
When I walked in and they were all standing around but to busy to talk to me I open up the pizza box and “I asked is this how you several ALL your pizzas?” He says YEP!!!
I said there’s liquid inside the box. He said it’s just REALLY JUICY pizza… I picked up a slice and said this is mush like pouring water on bread!!! That’s when he said to leave my name and number and he’d call me tomorrow to work it out… I said I waited OVER 2Hrs for a pizza that I can’t eat. You told me you had the kid on the phone tell me that you wouldn’t deliver another pizza to me. So I’m not leaving without a refund so I can go get dinner somewhere else.
He told me he was going to call the police 2 different times, I said I waited over 2hours for my dinner that I can’t even eat. (At this time it’s been 2 hrs 40mins).
I said go ahead call the police or refund my money and I’ll gladly leave and get dinner elsewhere…
He said FINE! Looks up the price of the pizza $21.49 and gives me ONLY $21.00 I asked about the 49 cents… He looked at me like I was crazy!!! Handed me a dollar and I left!!!!

Love this place! Their roast beef sandwich is the besssttt! And Their pizza /salads are amazing too. Does take some patients, does take a long time to get your order with how busy they are. Atleast and hour usually but worth it if you’re planning ahead!

Great food but if they tell you to pick up in 30 minutes give them an hour. 3 times I have came here and waited 30 min or longer while the guys are just watching tv inside. Just tell me the real time it takes not what I want to hear. I’ll just order delivery from the chains it’s quicker and I don’t have to deal with this.

OMG the pizza!! Absolutely delicious! We are from St. Louis but were staying at a VRBO in Maeystown illinois and wanted pizza and I was so glad we chose Papa Vito’s! Plus since they don’t deliver that far they met us half way so we didn’t have drive so far to pick it up. Excellent service! I will literally now drive about 45 min to come get this pizza because it is amazing! Btw we had the meat lovers!

The pizza was wonderful. There were plenty of fresh toppings, which is how it should be. We received a perfect amount of food for the price. My only critique is that it took way too long to make. We ended up waiting almost 2 and a half hours.
