Wow! Delicious wood-fired pizza! This was such a treat on a cold, rainy day. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone who loves wood-fired pizza. The staff was really friendly and helpful too! We’ll definitely be back!

My 8 year old says it’s the BEST pizza she’s had. She never eats the crust, but says its so good she can’t leave it. She ordered the 2 Slice Lunch Special – Margherita & Pepperoni. And it basically came out looking like a whole pizza! She ate it all but a few bites. I ordered to Cheesteak. I have never had an authentic cheesesteak (we’re from Texas) But what I have tried, i was never impressed. I asked if the cheesesteak here was pretty authentic to what I would experience in philly. He said yes, so yold him to prepare it however he would normally do it up. Y’all! This sandwhich was sooooo good! I could only eat about 2/3. Very large & stuffed full. We’re both feeling fat & happy. Haha.

In a small town like this, you do not expect pizza this good. This place is a hidden gem. The crust and dough are light, crisp, and absolutely perfect, with just the right balance of crunch and chew. Every bite feels intentional and well made. The topping combinations are creative and bold without being over the top, and the flavors work together in a way that elevates the entire pie. It is clear real thought and care go into each pizza. This is the kind of place you tell people about and bring friends to when they visit. Easily some of the best pizza around, not just for a small town but anywhere.

Today I Googled “good Italian food near me” gave me this result. 7 minutes away from my hotel. I ordered via phone to pick up. Got there i should’ve known better when the kitchen area is a total mess, dingy and grimy. Only 1 table witb 3 people occupied at dinner time. Man was making a pizza. Rinsed his hands and cashed me out for a fettuccine with meat balls, $17 and a fried calamari, $15 Got a sanpellegrino and a chocolate cake. 42 something total. Left him the rest of the change of a 50. Asked him for lemon he said he put extra pieces with the calamari. I get to my hotel. Open the calamari. Omg. Its spongy, smelled like sitting fish and had freezer burn on the rings when I removed the breading and to top it off they added orange slices to the order. No lemon. Called and he has the audacity to tell me he didn’t make it but he clearly told me at pick up he added it. I literally got to my hotel opened it up and jumped back in my car to return it. I literally only bit one ring, tasted it and spit it out. I drove back to this place, bringing the calamari back he says he will only give me half my money since I had taken it with me and he said I to take that disgusting calamari with me that he doesmt want it there. Left the whole calamari order, complete with the orange slices, on the counter. Saying im lucky he is giving me back the half the price of it and telling me the menu doesn’t even say it comes with lemon even though I asked and he obliged. I left it on the counter and took my 8 dollers. Still have that fettuccine, which tastes like supermarket box pasta and was overcooked. The sauce was good it is tasty but the meatballs are hard, dry and in the middle not as hot as the sauce . Only thing authentic Italian in this place is the guys foreign accent. Just go to Olive Garden. Service and quality would have been much better all-around and I would have enjoyed my food. Got me for my money for extremely medicore food. He even tells me “ohhh I never had anyone complain” but the restaurant is empty and only people there look like they dont even season their chicken. If u know what good food is, dont bother with this place. Seems they cater to the palate of below average clientele.

Enjoyed the calm friendly atmosphere. The pizza was gourmet and very unique recipes:Hawaiian and Chicken Ranch. The salad was loaded with walnuts and crispy apple pieces. My husband and I really enjoyed the food. We would go there again.

Slices are inconsistent. Some have good quantity of ingredients. Other slices have very little covering the crust.
Attached is a photo of 2 side-by-side slices.
One has good ingredients, the other is half bare.

This pizza came from Nonna Liva in Shippensburg PA.
The service was good, but the pizza had minimal sauce, barely adequate cheese, and very inconsistent coating of ingredients.

I’m a native New Yorker and have only been in this area a few years. I gave up on finding truly good pizza around here a while ago. The first time someone brought me a slice from this place, I genuinely thought they had driven back to NYC for it.

I’ve tried other dishes too, and everything has been consistently delicious and authentically made. It’s also the only spot within miles where I’ve found a really great penne alla vodka.

The owners are Italian and incredibly kind, and I love the big front window , it’s such a cozy welcoming feel. I really hope they’re here to stay.

Two BIG BIG Subs and a Hawaiian pizza. Ingredients were great super fresh . Cheesesteak Sub solid 8/10. Good quality meat and not skimpy on quantity either. Wife had the Turkey Sub very good meat taste and quantity. The Hawaiian pizza had jalapeños on it and was our first time having jalapeños on a Hawaiian and probably will get it that way from now on the heat and sweet were so good together.

Awesome pizza place. The margarita pizza was great and their homemade cheesecake as well. I’d definitely come here again to try more of their items, and not even just the pizzas. They were really nice too and I think the food is fairly priced. They do student discount and a Sunday cheese pizza special as well.

Hands down the best pizza in town, but the subs are amazing, too. Authentic and unique flavors and combinations. The service is great. They’re fast and friendly, and will fix any problems promptly. I tell everyone in town—go to Nonna Ilva!
