Went to the all-you-can-eat oyster roast. Great fresh oysters. Nice flavored cluster oysters, cooked to perfection. Barely needed oysters knife as shells were popped open enough. Great brine. Friendly staff. Enjoyable event in a beautiful courtyard.

Our food was delicious and the service was awesome! I wish I could remember our server’s name, she was lovely and the host was gracious as well. They even stored some frozen bread for us we bought at the Farmers Market as we dined.

My husband said his French dip sandwich was the best he’s ever had and my shrimp roll was fresh and yummy. Thank you for a great meal and experience.

Kersey house hosted my wedding and did a 5 star job!! They were very accommodating for everyone. The food was AMAZING! The service was spectacular! My husband and I had a personal waiter all night and he was so kind! We truly felt like royalty. The guests were saying all night how good the food was. And it was just such a beautiful venue to get married at! 100% recommend them for your wedding or events!

First timers and we all enjoyed our meal! From the apps to the dessert, everything was perfectly prepared and delicious! Our server was very attentive to our needs and the GM stopped by to ensure we were enjoying the meal. Quiet atmosphere! Highly recommend and we will be back! Dessert pictured was a lemon raspberry eclair! 🙂

Good Afternoon,

We were very disappointed with our visit this morning/afternoon at The Kersey House. The last time we dined with you was two days after your grand opening, and we were looking forward to returning.

We were seated at approximately 11:25 a.m. and did not receive our food until around 12:30 p.m. During that time, our waitress did not initially greet our table until roughly 25 minutes after we sat down. It appeared there may have been a disconnect between the wait staff and the kitchen, as several other patrons also seemed to be experiencing significant delays in receiving their meals. Additionally, the restaurant wasn’t terribly busy.

Our party of seven ordered three waffle breakfasts, biscuits and gravy, and three shrimp and grits. While the food itself was very good and met expectations in terms of quality, the extended wait time—over an hour—was concerning. I will give kudos to the restaurant for comping our appetizer due to the wait time, which was greatly appreciated.

I am not someone who typically writes reviews, as I understand that businesses can have off days. However, the primary reason for sharing this feedback is that we have an upcoming private event scheduled at The Kersey House. We hope this experience is not indicative of the level of service we can expect during our event.

We appreciate your time in reviewing this feedback.

Visited Kersey House for the first time last night and from the check-in to the end of the meal, it was a delightful experience! I wanted to treat my fiancé to a nice birthday dinner and Kersey House staff pulled all the stops! The handwritten card and complimentary gelato was so thoughtful, I appreciate how the crew made him feel special. The menu offers a variety of options to please any dietary needs. The menu notates gluten free, dairy free items and even has a separate vegetarian menu! Our server Nathan was attentive plus the crew that brought our food and birthday goodies were so hospitable.

For appetizer we got the fried calamari that came in bite sized pieces plus a fraîche to dip in and the crispy soft pork belly with pickled items. For my entree, I got the Kersey salad with a goat cheese roll and lobster bisque. The Boursin dressing complemented the greens perfectly. My fiancé enjoyed his steak frites lightly salted. The cocktails were refreshing – highly recommend the Kersey 75 and Côté Soleil. We managed to get the tail end of happy hour and they offer some great deals! 1/2 off cocktails!? Yes, please!

KH also offers plenty of room for events like weddings and events. Found a parking spot easily along the tracks and liked how they offer a number of places to sit from the veranda to indoors.

Thank you Kersey House for the stellar service and hospitality.

We really enjoyed our visit and were really impressed! The food was delicious, big portions, and affordable for how good it was. The happy hour specials were also awesome! Chelsea was a great server, and we can’t wait to come back to try other dishes.

I stopped in for happy hour. I was planning on having dinner, but the appetizers kinda stopped me. We ordered the cheese plate, and thank goodness it was half off because of happy hour. It was nothing special. The pork belly had good flavor, but it was overcooked. My drink was delicious, but I don’t think I will be back. I do love Laura’s, though, but if you want French food, I would recommend somewhere else. Absolutely beautiful space, though. I love the building.

Went here for my birthday last night, the food was really good! We got a few apps, soup, the scallops and Short ribs. A bottle of wine, and dessert! Everything was super good. The service was great, our waiter was very attentive and good at making suggestions. My only note I would make to the team there is I’d work on the lighting ambience a little, some small candles at the tables and dim warm lighting would really set the vibe off in this venue!

We had a fantastic dining experience at The Kersey House! We ordered the roasted oysters, scallops, and crème brûlée—and every dish was absolutely outstanding. The flavors were fresh and beautifully prepared. Nadia, our server, took excellent care of us—warm, attentive, and on point throughout the evening. The atmosphere was cozy and charming, making the whole night even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!
