First time ever at a Dickey’s. Had a taste for BBQ, so I decided to give it a try.
I ordered the pulled pork plate with green beans and BBQ beans. I liked both the regular and sweet sauces. Really liked the beans! The green beans were ok. The pork itself was good overall with a nice flavor, albeit a little dry.
You have to go into the stock room to get to the bathroom, but they were clean overall.
Not much decor overall, and little seating. The biggest issue for me is by the time you get the one-meat plate, a drink, and leave a tip, it costs over $23. Hard to justify that for lunch.
Not a bad place to stop to get some good take-out.

I usually don’t leave a review but the food I ordered was not worth what I paid for it. I ordered the 3- meat plate…ribs, brisket, and pork. I ordered sausage ON THE SIDE. All the meat came in one tiny box and all of it was served COLD!!. It looked like the only meat in the box was ribs, pork, and they put the sausage in the box too. I couldn’t find the brisket. The bread that came with it was dry and stale. The loaded potatoes were cold too. This restaurant could do a lot better. I can’t believe that I was charged $5.99 for a piece of sausage. I still wondering what happened to the brisket. I hate leaving a review but maybe they can get their food warmers fixed because serving cold meat and potatoes can really make someone sick! I paid $28.00 and I wish I had gone elsewhere. And the coleslaw was almost tasteless as well. I quit coming here because the portions were cut so bad and the service was horrible. I thought that I would give Dickeys another chance but unfortunately not much has changed. I won’t be back.

What a delightful experience to have all around the board. Customer service was beyond great and the owner Mike is doing a phenomenal job.
We were in town briefly and was referred to Dickey’s. We ordered a variety of items including brisket, smoked wings, ribs, macaroni and cheese and a few other items.
Everything was great and we even got a chance to try a few other items courtesy of Dickey’s. Their pepper sauce accompanies several of there items perfectly and the overall experience was genuinely memorable.
Not only do I recommend I would strongly urge if you have not had Dickeys to get out and order you some items as soon as possible. Whenever we are in town this will be our staple food spot and cannot wait to patronize Dickey’s again.

I’ve eaten dickeys in the past out in Washington state. Used to eat it once a week. I’ve moved to Dothan and did not like the experience. I got the westerner sandwich combo with brisket and jalapeño cheddar sausage, with a side of okra. I went to grab a drink and the ice machine was out of ice, I went to grab sweet tee but to find out both of the containers were unsweetened. Then my food arrived and the only thing warm on my plate was the okra. The okra had a freezer burn taste to it. I finished my food because I had worked a 16 hour shift and didn’t want to deal with returning it, I just wanted to get home. I looked around and was saddened that the ice cream machine was nowhere to be found and asked about free ice cream and was laughed at. In Washington state they have a free soft serve ice cream machine. For the $20 that I paid for barely any meet on the sandwich, cold food and no sweet tea, I will not be coming back to this location.

See the owner replies to these reviews but does nothing to fix the issue. The business is struggling so he won’t offer any comps to try and rebuild a relationship with the customer. Nothing will change and it will stay a crappy establishment. It’s sad to see where business owners lose so much, if only they had a business coach to get them where they needed to be. But sadly I will never eat at this establishment again. I will happily go to Jim-n-nicks or pig out. They have phenomenal BBQ compared to dickeys!

But I do want to share that I recently placed an online order and accidentally placed it with the wrong location smh. It went to the Huntsville AL store instead of Dothan AL so I called the Huntsville location and explained I had made order to wrong location. The owner tells me np just go to the Dothan store and tell them I (her name) said just go ahead and fix the order no worries. I was like oh ok wow thanks so much. Now if that had been any other restaurant they would have said ok will have to cancel the order and refund your card it might take 3-10 business days to go back to your card and I would have had to place the order again. but not Dickey’s bbq they said ok np we got you now That’s what every restaurant should do. My 1# favorite places to eat. Thanks again

We loved it all the way around .. the rub on the ribs was AMAZING .. best coleslaw we have found in the area and the sweet tea was wonderful ..

Our family had food catered for my mom’s retirement party. The owner and staff were very professional. They allowed us to sample the sides before making our decision. The price was reasonable and we had enough food for the party and to go plates. We will definitely be using them again!! I didn’t get pictures of before but the after should serve justice and we are eating leftovers today.

Worst bbq I have ever had in my life dry chewy and flavorless I don’t I’m even think this food is prepared on a grill I believe it is all baked in the oven. Then they give u soggy bread it’s not even toasted with some type of yellow mess that I guess is supposed to be butter but I have never seen butter be dark yellow! HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND I WILL NEVER BE BACK!

I wouldn’t even give a 1 star review! Ordered a 2 meat plate, a potato baker, and 2 kids meals. When the order was delivered. The everything on the potato baker was cold, the two meat plates cold and wouldn’t even feed a child and it’s $15! One of the kids nuggets were cold! Tried to call, they don’t even have a number on google..I wonder why..
