Excellent, authentic food and great service! We had all three of the Cuban Empanadas (beef, ham & cheese and chicken) which came with their own sauces. My entree was the Pork Bites with Yuca fries and Sweet Plantains. The flavor was great although I would have liked some sort of sauce for the pork. My wife had the Churrasco grilled skirt steak with an amazing chimichurri sauce.
Next time I want to try their house specialty, Bandeja Paisa.

The food was tooooo good!!! The seasoning, the sauces, it all tasted so fresh. Each dish was hot. I didn’t have a bad item – we tried multiple dishes.
You must try the soursop juice!!

My father in law took me here for a Cuba sandwich. I live a few blocks away and have not been here. The atmosphere is great. The music was good but not too loud. Our server Dee ( told her I would not get it right) was super. She was very attentive and had a great smile and attitude. I had a Cuban sandwich. It was glorious. The meat was plentiful and flavorful and the grill was perfect. I can’t wait for my wife to get home so I can take her. If you are on O’Neal in Baton Rouge, this is a definite stop.

can’t say enough good things about this family-owned Cuban-Colombian gem! I’ve been here more than five times, and each visit leaves me happier than the last. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and authentically Latino. My absolute favorite is their Cuban bowl, photo attached. It’s packed with taste and comfort in every bite. Their natural juices are also incredible, the perfect refreshing complement to the meal.
They even catered an event at my workplace, and the experience was just as amazing. Everyone raved about the food, even colleagues who had never tried Cuban or Colombian cuisine before were blown away. It was a true crowd-pleaser!
If you’re looking for a casual spot with authentic Latino food that feels both welcoming and delicious, this is the place. The love and care they put into their cooking really shines through, and it keeps me coming back again and again.

Third visit: I had a craven for some Cuban comfort food. I got the Cuban Bowl and a side of yuca fries. It was some of the best black bean and rice ever. The shredded pork perfectly cooked and seasoned. Never had sweet plantains that good before. Only thing missing is a traditional yuca with mojo . The coconut flan is out of this world delicious. This place should be packed.
Second visit: Came for croquetas, Cuban and Colombian Empanadas, Ropa Vieja, yuca fries and flan. Once again had a great experience. This time the flan was beautiful. If you love Cuban food as I do, you must come and support this place. It is a rare gem in Baton Rouge.
The black beans were very traditional and remined me of my grandmother’s. The ham and cheese empanadas were fried to perfection and the sauce was amazing. Not sure what it was but it was a little sweet and spicy and tasted fresh. The yuca fries were fresh, crispy and tasty. The cuban sandwich could have been toasted a little more but other wise was on point with flavor and fresh ingredients. The flan may not be the prettiest but once you taste it, you will rejoice in pleasure. Perfectly creamy and just the perfect texture. One of my favorite flans. The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing. The place was surprisingly empty for the time of day. Should be busy, the food here is special.

Delicious! Everything was so good here! Our waitress was kind and wanted to make sure we enjoyed our food. We ordered the beef Columbian empanada, the loaded chicken tostones, the cuban bowl, and the Yuca fries. It was all fresh, well prepared, and you could definitely tell it was prepared with love. Would recommend!

Everyone in our group was delighted with their meal! It was so delicious, all the ingredients tasted fresh, the sauces were flavorful! And the service was wonderful: only one person was manning the front of the restaurant. She was lovely, thoughtful, and friendly – yet efficient.
The only negative was that the cleaning product used in the dining area was very strong and it gave a headache to the chemically-sensitive person in our group. I wouldn’t suggest eating in if you have chemical/ perfume allergies.

We stopped in on our way through Louisiana for a quick bite to eat. The food was delicious. I regret not taking photos for this review. Everything was cooked fresh, so it took a little longer to receive our food, but it was absolutely worth the wait. I also really appreciated the kids menu for my picky eater. The staff was friendly and happily answered our questions about the menu. We will definitely return if we’re ever in the area again.
