I was in the medical building today accompanying a loved one and went downstairs during my wait to find The Proverbial Cup. Fresh, flavorful, locally roasted coffee beans!
I ordered an Americano in the smallest cup they had (6 or 8 oz) to be sure to get all of the tasting notes I was not disappointed. An excellent cup of coffee!
After drinking most of it I went back downstairs and spoke with the barista and learned it was a Brazilian medium roast bean. She was friendly and very knowledgeable of the coffee being served.

This coffee shop is my favorite part of getting physical therapy. The staff is always kind and courteous and the coffee is delicious. They have so many flavors to choose from. My favorite flavor is coconut. Must try!

Wow. I don’t like my lattes super sweet so was hesitant to get the Samoa Cookie Latte, but holy cow it was great! I’m a regular mocha guy but would get that drink all day long. Super smooth and generally a great drink.

This was the highest rated coffee shop in the area and I can see why. Coffee was stellar and the person running it was so joyful. Lobby was full of light but, you know, it’s a medical center so not exactly a cozy cafe you can hole up at.

Stopped by on the way out of the hospital to grab a coffee. What can I say other than “fantastic”. Had the caramel latte and it was one of the best I have had. Also, the barista was very welcoming and warm which means a lot when it seems many establishments these days have workers who are simply ready for their shift to be over and it’s obvious by their interaction. Great place!

Awesome little spot! Who knew this little gem would be hidden inside a hospital. Great drinks and super friendly staff. It’s worth a trip to even if you don’t need a medical procedure.

This coffee shop is located in the hospital. The service was great! The barista was so kind and had a very pleasant, kind disposition and smile. So glad the hospital doesn’t cater to the typical Star$. Sick of that place. This shop was way better than Starbucks. Only gave a lower star because it just wasn’t my favorite coffee flavor. Made appropriately, just wasn’t the best I had during my trip to Nashville.
