This might be the best fried catfish I’ve ever had in my entire life. It’s just a little hole in the wall place. The building is not fancy at all, however it is clean or appeared that way. I got my catfish to go. I am more interested in the quality of food instead of a fancy building. This has got to be the best catfish ever. And the price was awesome. I got two large fried catfish fillets, a very large serving of french fries and two hush puppies $9 and something.

BAD UPDATE–this place WAS great. Been a few times in the last few months. The food isn’t bad but nothing like it was when I was first here. And the service is BAD. Bad bad. We were here at 430. 2 people. Only ones here. Took 30 minutes to get our food. And they absolutely didn’t have the air on. No idea what’s happened but sadly I won’t be back. We can get good wings AND good service at other places. I wanted it to be a one time issue but sadly it’s not.
If you’ve been to the LR or NLR locations then you already know how good this is. Great wings, the pork chop sandwich is simple but perfect, and they have some of my favorite onion rings around. Absolutely recommend going here.

I recently ordered a takeout meal from Chicken King, and it was a fantastic experience! The chicken was cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Their sauces are absolutely delicious, with the lemon pepper and spicy garlic parmesan being my personal favorites. On top of that, the prices are great, offering excellent value for such high-quality food. The friendly service made the meal even more enjoyable. I will definitely be returning to Chicken King soon!

They cook a good pork chop. I’ve stopped there quite a few times to get a pork chop sandwich or dinners. But they are now doing thin cut breakfast chops and $8.99 for one thin cut pork chop and 2 pieces of white bread is a bit too expensive for me. Sorry but guess I’m done.
