Enjoyed root and bone for the first time on valentines day. Had their February special 3 for 35 which was an exceptional deal.
Started with a salad, wife had the soup. Nothing special but very good. Entrees were the apricot chicken and steak coulette, knocked it wildly out of the park. Desserts were smores mouse and banana brulee that were incredibly tasty.
All in all a great experience, should have been much busier than they were.

Thought we’d try something different and well…It wasn’t great. I wanted to love the brisket meatloaf, but it was well done and had a semi-sweet red sauce on top. The mashed potatoes were cold and probably out of a box also had some type of reddish gravy. The mac and cheese is described as ooey gooey, but it’s mostly dry and krafty. It’s not even as good as Velveta. My goal is to take it home and attempt to fix it. I should have known that it perhaps wasn’t great when we walked in to only 3 other dinner guests on a Sunday evening. I unfortunately do not reccommend.

We ordered the smoked fish dip for an app which was delicious. My husband loved the fried chicken which surprisingly stayed hot throughout his meal. I ordered the apricot chicken which was also delicious. The chicken was moist and cooked perfectly. We recommend the key lime pie and the banana cream brulee. Both were very good. We will be back to try other dishes.

This is definitely the place to go! The food is incredible and our waitress, Jessica, was amazing! The biscuits and cornbread are phenomenal appetizers. The chicken and waffles and spring ravioli are incredible. If you haven’t been, I HIGHLY recommend. My partner has gotten the salmon twice now and it is the best salmon we’ve ever had. This restaurant should be WAY busier for how delicious their food is. It’s worth a trip and worth spending extra money on a NICE dining experience.

I highly recommend visiting. Their food is delicious and it is more than worth the price for a nice evening out. The steak was delicious and cooked perfectly to order, the potatos were excellent and complimentary to the steak. The starter salad was good if unique and it had the best croutons I have ever had. We had the s’more mousse and it was amazing and delicious. Everything was made fresh. I cannot recommend going here more!

Incredible, from start to finish. The server was attentive, friendly and made some fantastic dinner recommendations, as this was our first time dining here. I chose the friend chicken, and my husband had the short rib meat loaf. Both dishes were absolutely mouthwatering, and cooked to perfection. We ended our meals with a s’mores parfait and a banana creme brûlée dessert, and both were great choices. We will definitely be back when we are in town again.

Unfortunately I can’t remember any names of the staff… The host wasn’t welcoming at all, the server was wonderful!!! I was really looking forward to dining, I took my daughter for her 12th birthday. Very disappointing! We ordered the deviled eggs, they were so small and tough. My family and I are still trying to figure out what species the egg came from. The girls ordered the ravioli, took one bite and pushed the plates forward. Completely flavorless!! Mom and I ordered the brisket meatloaf, it’s just dry, over cooked, under seasoned brisket, shaped into a square. There’s no binder, no veggies, nothing that makes it meatloaf, just sweet red sauce on top… When you stick your fork in, it just falls apart. They advertised broccoli with the meatloaf, however I received green beans in a sweet sauce with boxed mashed potatoes! Asked our sweet waitress about the green beans, found out they were cooked in bacon fat. Well I’ll be damned, I don’t eat pork(cries). 1/2 Fried chicken undercooked. Will never return….. Wish I could take my waitress with me to serve at a good restaurant though:(

This was a disappointment the food that was described on the menu sounded like it would be good. The flavors were not coherent. I saw the bio’s of the chefs and owners, and would have expected more. There are no Michelin stars in this restaurant’s future if they can’t make a cocktail the same way twice or for food to be underwhelming. The high point was that the service was good.

Beautiful, refreshing and welcoming place, delicious food and friendly service! Our server Geneva was very helpful and enthusiastic! Vegan options were flavorful, satisfying and artfully plated! For appetizer I had root vegetables tartar with hint of horseradish and capers. For main course I had 1/2 of roasted butternut squash on top of some delicious mash of some sort (may be sweet potato) that I really loved, topped with kale chips, chickpeas and sweet dried cherries. The cocktails were very good. We really enjoyed the evening and will be back for more!
