The wait staff here was so fast and friendly, that I really wanted to like it, but…
The food made it almost impossible to like.
First, we order one of the chef specials:
Four cheese ravioli with a Bolognese sauce.
They were fried, like mozzarella sticks,
And tasted nothing like ravioli at all…
I wish the waiter had warned us in advance.
Next, we had a regular menu Appetizer:
three meatballs in a Bolognese sauce.
These were soft and truly tasty too.
Sadly, the pizza was a big disappointment.
It’s crust was extremely thin, hard and dry.
It seemed to be a frozen crust, overloaded with cheese, to try to soften and disguise it.
I really wish I’d used the bathroom before
we ordered. Then, I would not have stayed.
The Woman’s toilet did not even flush at all.
It wasn’t clogged. The handle was broken.
Salt in the wound, we went to use the coupon they advertised on Yelp, and…
They refused it, even though it had no date.
THE DEAL: Newport Beach has a LOT of great restaurants from which to choose.
Choose another one.

Absolutely the best meal we had in Newport Beach. The entree specials were incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection! Alfred was of course an amazing host!!! Trust him he will not steer you wrong.
