This is hands down the best halal/chicken over rice spot in the area. HANDS DOWN. They make everything fresh and authentically and take pride in their food. They recently did a nice refresh of both the store and their menu and it just adds to the already amazing food. Friendly staff here as well and always tell me hello whenever I come to visit. Easy 5 stars. Also a great value you’re receiving for $12.99 for the platter because they fill it up and give you fries with it. No other spot does that so they’re doing it CORRECTLY. Taking care of their customers. The 2 platters for $19.99 is also by far the best deal you’ll ever see on the area. Couldn’t recommend these guys more, you gotta try them out.

Mikeal & arab make the best dishes you want. Just tell them how you want and they make it. I love the food, it’s always fresh and tasty, especially their ziki sauce. Tell Mikeal & arab how much sauce u want and they’ll put it on. Must try the lamb and rice or chicken and rice. Its Awsome. Love the food it’s great!!!

The food is taste great! They give you your first platter for free to try, and it’s delicious! Great prices also with a good amount of food. It’s right inside robins deli. They have new management and they are very friendly.

I moved to Sayreville from NYC a few months ago. Tried a couple of halal spots in the area and they just weren’t that good. I passed by Robins, a convenience store that happened to sell halal food in the back. Great decision because this food was a lot better than I expected. The portions are a good size. I got a chicken platter with rice and french fries which was delicious. I love spicy food so my only recommendation would be to give the hot sauce a little bit more kick but other than that I’m completely satisfied and will definitely be returning.
