Blue Front Cafe has been on my Blues Bucket list for 15 years. The day was truly the greatest live music experience of my 75 year old life. Sunday afternoon and Jimmy Duck played all afternoon. It was like hanging out with Jimmy and his town friends, just talking and listening to the BLUES LEGEND.

After watching “I am the Blues” we decided to stop by and see this legendary location. We were expecting it to be closed but to our surprise it is still open and this Juke Joint is amazing ! We met Jimmy “The Duck” Holmes and had an amazing conversation with him. We hung out for a few hours just soaking up the atmosphere. It felt like going back home.

I can’t comment about the food or service, I came out to help Mz Ankh’s Cafe with a event she cooked nachos, tacos, fish, and chicken dinners. But I did very much enjoy the Blues Fest they had at this facility, I will go back again and get back with you on the food and service
