The staff are amazing here. Fast, friendly and welcoming. Love how theres bible verses everywhere within and on the cups. This is only my 2nd time visiting so I wasnt too familiar to the menu and the nice young lady in a custom white hoodie patiently waited. Also she gave me my soda without ice! That’s a winner for me(its already cold, and going to be gone in 10minutes)! The food both times ive visited has been perfect. The chicken falling apart juicy but still crispy. The fries are a nice crinkle cut and they also give a massive slice of texas toast with the orders. I dont know what the Guthries sauce is of but it was amazing too. I’ll definitely be back and do recommend

Guthrie’s: Flavor Blessed, Fries Confessed
Walking into Guthrie’s, I knew exactly what to expect: same menu, same crinkle fries, same Texas toast, same pink peppery sauce. What I didn’t expect was a side of scripture. My cup came handwritten with “Be the Light,” and the register was decorated with more Bible verses than a Sunday school chalkboard. Honestly, if I wanted “Christian chicken,” I would’ve gone to Chick-fil-A, where at least they would’ve made it their pleasure to bless my nugs.
That said—let’s talk about the food. Because it was good. The chicken fingers were hot, fresh, and packed more flavor than that other chicken finger restaurant (you know the one). The honey mustard dip? Absolutely on point. The fries had a little bitter edge, maybe a fryer oil that overstayed its welcome, but still completely edible. And the Texas toast did what Texas toast always does—fluffy, buttery, and gone way too fast.
The restaurant itself was bright, clean, and dare I say… heavenly. So yes, come for the chicken, stay for the sauce, and maybe leave with a verse or two to ponder.
With that said. I see a review saying the tenders are small. They are on the smaller side but they are actual tenders and not sliced white meat. Smaller bird better quality.

This is my new favorite chicken place. This is the second time I’ve eaten at a Guthrie‘s and both times it was fantastic. The chicken tenders were hot fresh and crispy. The toast is very good. I love that sauce. The service was great. The staff was friendly and the messages they write on your Drinkcups Made my day.

Excellent! Better than our hopes, we now have a new favorite, and much closer to home!!!! Yay!! Originally founded in Georgia in 1984, Guthrie‘s Chicken Fingers restaurant is in West Virginia and oh am I so glad. The fingers are hot and fresh. The toast is buttery and crispy and the fries are perfect.. a nice meal for $10 is hard to come by but you can do so right here. The restaurant is clean. The staff is friendly. We will definitely be back..

Tables where dirty, food was micro sized portions. Sauce didnt even fill half of the cup. Drink was 3/4 full but I could taste cleaner in it. I had to buy toast separately even though I got a meal. This was my first and probably my last experience here. I was really let down.

Food is hot, fresh, flavorful, chicken fingers lightly breaded and crispy w/o being greasy. Cole slaw is one way I judge a place, and it’s a good cole slaw. Grated rather than chopped. The house dipping sauce is a Creamy, peppery bbq that is a great alternative to the usual. Fat crinkle cut fries are perfectly done. Meals include a slice of Texas toast. Coke products, so no Mtn Dew!
Overall, an excellent addition to the areas food options!

Super. CLose to the interstate and gasoline. Kind staff and helpful. Brand new unit. Ordered the 3 Chicken tender Sandwich combo! Quick and fresh! Delicious speciality sauce with fresh crips lettuce and tasty hot fries. Wish I would had asked for ketchup. Would be nice to had a few packets. But I enjoyed them anyway. Great sweet tea! Nifty to have them in our state! Welcome Guthries! So happy we have you!

Went to Guthrie’s for the first time this weekend, and the only thing I didn’t like was how small the chicken was for the price. The fries were okay, the bread was great, and the coleslaw was pretty good. The staff was super friendly and kept refilling our drinks.
