This is literally my favorite restaurant in the whole New Port Richey area, and I’ve lived there my whole life. The owners are so kind, the food and coffee is amazing, and the prices are well worth it also. I work just around the corner at Odd Wood Lumber and I eat food from Mi Montaña at least once a week, oftentimes twice. I always get the Colombian Empanadas which I highly, highly recommend. The coffee there is also great. If I could give 6 stars I would!

I am so thankful Hyman and Rosalba are here with us in NPR to share their phenomenal authentic food with us! We chose the roasted pork, which was perfectly moist and explosive with flavor and the skin was good and hard. Once you start eating the black beans and yellow rice it will be near impossible to stop, also perfectly moist and seasoned. The rice pudding is a perfect sweet ending. You will not find a more kind, generous and joyous couple happy to feed you, in all of NPR. Please stop in and support our local small business owners.

Hate to be that guy but no. I ordered the lunch combo with stew chicken , arroz con gandules, red beans, and plantains. I waited 30 minutes and I got dry chicken , black beans, and yellow rice. I mean the rice and black beans was okay but it’s not at all what I ordered. The guy was not communicating at all about the order , the wait, or payment. Not to mention the chicken empanada I got was dry and just barely edible …

Nice, quaint little mom & pop style restaurant. The folks there are super nice and service with a smile. We had breakfast…started with amazing Cuban coffee, then the Mi Montana plate and the Huevos Pericos & arepa Con Queso…Both were delicious! We finished with yummy tres leches cake! The empanadas and roast pork looked terrific…we’ll be back!! Limited seating inside, nice patio outside.
