If you’re anywhere near the Great Lakes Bay Region, do yourself a favor and visit Casa Flores. It’s hands-down one of the best Mexican food experiences I’ve had.
The first thing that stood out was the menu — it’s huge. Not overwhelming in a bad way, but exciting. There were so many creative, interesting options that I’d never even thought to try before. It made choosing difficult… in the best possible way.
We ordered the chile rellenos, a cheese quesadilla, and quesabirria, and every single bite was a dream. The chile rellenos were perfectly cooked with incredible flavor, the quesadillas were comforting and satisfying, and the quesabirria? Absolutely unforgettable. The consommé served with the birria was exceptional — rich, deeply flavorful, and the perfect companion for dipping.
And let me just say: I judge a Mexican restaurant by its rice. The Mexican rice here was spectacular. Fluffy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. When even the rice is that good, you know everything else is going to be on point.
Every bite was excellent from start to finish. I can’t wait to go back and work my way through more of that incredible menu.

Came here based off a TikTok review and it was definitely worth the drive over. We kept it simple due to the drive and they were only open until 5p. Our server was very kind and prompt, she kept checking on us, took our order and gave us chips and salsa. We sat maybe for about 5-10 minutes and our food was out. It was hot and fresh. Love that their birrias aren’t heavy tasting. I know it’s a weird description but some places make their birrias heavy but theirs was just right. Will definitely come back.

We decided to try a new to us restaurant. We’re so glad that we did. The waitstaff were friendly and gave suggestions about easy to try. If you’re undecided, try the tri plates.
The salsa has a lot of flavor and wasn’t spicy.
My husband usually doesn’t like the side of beans, but loved these even saying that they were the best he’s tried.
We didn’t try the drinks or dessert, but will be trying them next time

I surprised my husband after a hard day at work to this lovely restaurant, had never been but after doing some research I found out that they have Pozole and Menudo. I got the Pozole to go, after our meal. I had the Birria Smashed Burger, if you love Birria style tacos, your gonna love this burger…it was delicious and came with consome, to dip it. The burger was stacked with Birria beef, a beef patty, onions, cilantro, guacamole, Doritos and cheese and the buns are dipped in the chili sauce, freaking awesome and juicy. Best burger I ever had. My husband had the wet burrito and for dessert a cinnamon tortilla with ice cream and whipped cream. It was light and just perfect after a very filling meal. I recommend coming here. We will definitely be back to try more food.

12/10 experience. Most authentic place I’ve had in the tri-city area. The food, dessert, and Jarrito margaritas were out of this world. The quality remains excellent even with all of the options on the menu. Es perfecto.

Today was our first visit to Casa Flores. I ordered the chicken chimichanga tinga and hubby ordered the shrimp fajitas. Both dishes were delicious. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is fresh and expertly prepared. The restaurant has dine in seating and is clean and modern, the menu is extensive, and the prices are reasonable. They do not serve alcohol.

Authentic cuisine! Very good chips and fresh salsa with garden ingredients. They use quality ingredients, the food is fresh and hot, and the customer service was good. I ordered take-out but they do have dine-in that reminds me of a small family style restaurant. Definitely a 10/10 if you want traditional Mexican recipes.

We have been here a few times and it is a hidden gem! The ladies are so kind and helpful, the food is delicious and more authentic than many of the other mexican restaurants in the area. Definitely going to keep going back!
