The Prohibition is a hidden gem here in Chillicothe walking distance to beautiful downtown. If your looking for high end whiskey or a fun unique seltzer or even something nonalcoholic this is the spot. I love when they have live music some great real people pass through there. Beautiful old building Clean place. Ashley is so wonderful and helpful she makes you feel like family. Would be nice for some cards or board games or checkers to play with as you sip and enjoy the evening, also nice there’s no TV so it’s nice and personal place. Would be nice for some bar snacks. Needs a better sign hard to tell when or if it’s even open and where to go in and where to go once inside it’s a big building.

It is hard to tell from the website but this bar is combined with a wedding venue. We went at 6pm on a Saturday and we’re told the venue is closed to the public due to a wedding being hosted. Would recommend calling ahead to check if the venue is open to the public or not.
