Chips & salsa served upon arrival, along with 3 hot sauces already there. The barbacoa Ramen was served with onion, limes, cilantro, & tortillas to make little ramen tacos. Absolutely incredible, so tasty, highly recommend. Very comfort food in these winter months

The restaurant is beautiful and clean. The service was fast, kind and very friendly. But the tacos were just not that special. We had all pastor, steak, barbacoa, with barbacoa being the best.
Their sauces were excellent.
If you’re in the neighborhood then stop in and get some tacos but I would not go out of my way.

Due to the fact that I was stuck at our final of multiple appointments out in Chicago yesterday, my brother picked up the food for me. He told me they were very friendly and had even offered him a hand as I had ordered a good amount of food.
I have to say, I’m an extremely picky person when it comes to mexican foods. The meat was seasoned quite well, better than I’ve had out in the suburbs (where I live) for sure. The lettuce was crunchy which was nice! My partner and I shared a torta and burrito btw. The torta was soy pastor, and the burrito was asada. My son’s shared an asada quesadilla which to my surprise, my youngest ate!! My youngest is autistic and absolutely will not eat quesadillas so it was pretty cool to experience. My brother got the asada torta and ate it with vegetables and all ( which is unusual for him) — these all came with rice and beans (except the quesadilla). The rice and beans were ok, I wasn’t a big fan personally but they weren’t bad by any means. We were all also extremely disappointed with the horchata as it tasted like it had potential but for some odd reason also tasted like rice that had gone bad.
My favorite part though, was the salsa. Oh my God. The salsas were delicious, I’m not even supposed to be eating them right now but I couldn’t help it after having a taste, they were the absolute best part for me. Would I personally stop by again? Honestly, I think so. The well seasoned food, fresh vegetables, and salsa is honestly the most important part to me. I just hope if I get to taste the horchata again it’ll be better!

So glad we stopped here on a whim! The food is absolutely amazing – highly recommend the Compadres Tacos (Crispy Tacos). So much flavor and so authentic.

Amazing food and fantastic prices! I’m pretty sure that the owners served us and they were so kind and welcoming. Our group tried a burrito, tacos, a torta, and an order of chips and guac. The tacos were authentic and simple, the burrito was phenomenal, the torta was delicious and the home-made chips and guacamole were DELICIOUS. We’ll absolutely be back and this place will most likely become a “go-to” spot.

That was one of the best steak burritos I’ve had in my life and I don’t say it lightly. Amazing amounts of flavor. The pastor taco was just as packed with flavor. Cannot recommend this enough. I’ll be coming back.

Had the 2 steak tacos w cilantro, onions and lime (You can ask for cheese/tomato/lettuce if you prefer) how I like mine. I would’ve added on a third but got full from the chips and salsa which was delicious too. Chips were crispy and light, and the salsa was addicting. Look forward to trying more things on the menu.

Love this restaurant! It feels like going into your families home. The staff is so friendly and the food is so delicious and comforting. I especially love the chicken tacos and the sopes!
