The Cakeshop by Tati is such a sweet treasure! The owners are wonderful and you can tell how much love goes into everything they make. We especially love their tiramisu and chocolate Peruvian cake! Both are absolutely incredible when they’re available. The pudding cups are also a favorite, so creamy and delicious! I really enjoy their ever-changing menu because it keeps things fun and exciting, though I’ll admit I sometimes find myself craving something that isn’t on the menu that day. Either way, every visit is a treat and we’re so lucky to have them here! Not to mention the incredible talent in their decorative cakes, truly amazing!!

The owners of this bakery Tatiana and Derek are skilled, friendly and professionally trained! The dynamic duo and the team put out the very best of baked goods in State College area and maybe even the best in the whole of Pennsylvania! (no exaggeration here) Their fruit danishes are my favorite but the rise and lamination of their croissants are in par with any professional bakeries in the East coast area. Tatiana’s cake decorations are simply the best. Daily updates on their Facebook page are helpful to know what’s on the menu for the day. The staff there .. like .. Katy and Lauren are super welcoming and helpful. And last but not the least, they are environmentally conscious.. they use compostable food containers! These guys are going places and this bakery will grow immensely because they have amazing things to offer!

The Cakeshop is the BEST place around for cakes! Words can’t even describe how talented they are! Every cake I have had made has exceeded my expectations! And they taste so good! Moist, flavorful and the icing is perfectly sweet (it doesn’t taste like straight sugar). And the customer service is superb! I can’t say enough good things about them!

I had Tati’s cupcakes at a wedding I attended last year. This year for our wedding my husband wanted to have “those carrot cake cupcakes that Lisa had” I reach out to Tati and were able to get everything we needed for cake and cupcakes. Tati was very quick with responses. And she was transparent with pricing. The cupcakes and cake were excellent the colors were exactly as I planned. They were delicious! The cake was amazing. I would recommend Tati’s to anyone.

I had the pleasure of working with The Cakeshop by Tati for a wedding held at the Mt. Nittany Overlook Event Center. The cake was beautiful and surrounded by carefully decorated assorted cupcakes. This particular wedding had guests of all ages and Tati’s desserts were enjoyed by young and old alike. From a vendor perspective, Tati and her team know what they are doing – arriving on time, items were carefully packaged for transport and then arranged beautifully on-site. I enthusiastically recommend them!

Wonderful! I used The Cakeshop by Tati for both my bridal shower and my wedding and I have nothing but praise for Tati and her Bakery! Her desserts flew off the tables at both events, not a single cookie, macaron, or cupcake was left at the end of my events (we had huge spreads of her desserts!). My guest all raved at how delicious everything was and how beautiful the detail work was with my desserts. Her skills are unmatched in the area! On top of the products being amazing she’s wonderful to work with throughout the entire process from planning to completion. She was always welcoming to my ideas and desires, quick to respond to emails, and provided wonderful feedback with any questions I had during the planning. I will continue to come back to this bakery for any events that I have in the future!
