As the leaders in drive-thru for over 30 years Checkers & Rally’s locations are currently open and ready to serve our guests. We can provide our guests with the additional safety of an enclosed kitchen and limited personal contact – whether you choose to drive up, order ahead online, or have our food delivered. In response to concerns around the Coronavirus we have closed the few dining rooms that exist in the Checkers & Rally’s system and are limiting the number of people on our patio and at our walk-up windows. We are reinforcing our policies, including frequent and proper handwashing, along with the proper utilization and changing of gloves as we continue to serve our guests.

Not so fast food

We went to Checkers because of the BOGO coupon for Big Buford, but it is definitely not worth paying $6.30 for each burger. The time it takes to prepare the food, you’d guess it’d look decent at least. All the onions, pickles, and sauce were placed on one side, and the burger was barely warm. We’ve ordered large fries but got medium instead (which look like small fries in other fast-food chains). Fries tasted good, but $3.69 is a tad too much for a handful.

I love checker’s, especially this checker’s located in Evergreen Park, Illinois. The cashier/server’s name is Dan. He is cordial, kind and gets your food to you piping hot. You can tell that he loves his job. That is a rarity among many fast food restaurants that I have frequented. I give this checker’s five stars across the board.

I was really disappointed with my recent visit. The service was unprofessional, and the burger was undercooked. It raises concerns about the quality of the meat being used. It’s frustrating to see businesses come into our community and deliver such a subpar experience.
