I am very happy I found this amazing place! It’s a few miles off of the highway but if you’re driving past union on Hwy44 it’s most definitely worth the slight detour. I wasn’t sure what to expect for my first time there. I was NOT disappointed at all. I will return next time I’m in town.

The meal itself was good eats. Well presented and tasty. It’s also the only place in union we can find saki. I’m conflicted about the space. It’s quite shabby with torn seat fabrics, soiled carpet in the dinning space, and overall unkempt, outdated, and overused throughout. I should have had a clue when we were the only ones on a Friday night at 7 who chose to eat-in. Several pick up orders were out the door during our short visit. The wait staff were the youths of the business owners.

So I was looking for a good sushi place after moving down here to Missouri. I found this little gem! The Miso and tofu soup was amazing. I grabbed a small order of tuna sashimi, and me and my wife split a dinner for two which was more than enough to have our fill and take some home. I can’t wait to to go back!

I was looking for somewhere closeby that had good sounding food when i noticed Sakura. I got the pork Ramen, which was a great choice, and enjoyed every bite! They have absolutely delicious food and it’s definitely worth while to stop at! And the staff were very nice and pleasant and the food was ready quickly! 10/10 must try!!

This is a homey little sushi/hibachi restaurant with a large menu. We had the
•miso soup
•fried dumplings
•tuna lover special
•California roll
•steak fried rice.
My partner was picky about the steak being “spongey” he said but I didn’t mind it. It’s like most places choice of steak for their steak fried rice. It’s not Kobe’s or Drunken Fish level steak but not bad in my personal opinion. Tuna was ON POINT for quality Cali roll was good. Dumplings were so good we ordered extra to go. Service was quick and professional. Highly recommend this location on price, service and food all around so far

This was our first time stopping in. We made a great choice! We started with the california roll, and then got Honey Chicken with Lo mein, and Hunan Beef with fried rice. Everything was fantastic! Very flavorful and fresh. We will be back soon for sure.

Ordered the pork ramen and did not enjoy it at all. For one, the menu said it had bamboo shoots, ginger, and scallions. Not only were those were missing, but instead I got a healthy serving of corn and LETTUCE, which was awful in the dish. But the biggest issue was the pork: it tasted like it sat in the refrigerator for way too long, getting a very unfortunate bad meat taste, and was quite tough. When I let the waitress know I thought the meat may be spoiling, I was essentially told that the Chinese recipe they use is a little different than others and assured me the meat was boiled for over 3 hours in the soup mix. A soup mix that on its own was extremely bland. And despite not eating the dish I was not offered an alternative either.

As a dedicated ramen lover, this was a terrible representative of the dish and I cannot recommend it at all if you’re looking for real Japanese ramen. Stick to dishes you would have at any other Chinese restaurant though and I’m sure it’ll be fine.
