Pizza Richmond is a new spot but packs a solid slice (8.5/10) with fresh ingredients, tangy sauce, crispy crust, and a decent char. The service was excellent and pizza slices came out quickly. The soft serve (Lychee & Pink Guava) was amazing as they use the base of it from 1-900. I don’t think it’s over priced for the quality of the product but I can see how locals may seem this is over priced. The pricing is closer to south philly or rittenhouse pricing but in Port Richmond which is a different market. I wish they didn’t par bake it to get a even better char but thats a small feedback. Overall, I believe its a great slice for the area and could be a top 10 shop in philly.

Pizza Richmond is safe to say some of the best pizza I’ve ever had, been here multiple times but today I had the pleasure of running into Natalie, as we were chitchatting, Natalie casually explained how the pizza here specifically uses all natural ingredients & cooking processes! They dont even own a microwave! (Makes sense why the pizza might be viewed as a little pricey) I for one am always happy to spend extra on natural food! Natalie just turned me into frequent re-occuring customer!

Unbeatable New York style pizza. Crispy crust that holds a fold, cheese is salty and umami filled, tomato sauce is perfectly piquant. Staff is friendly, phone order and pickup is easy. Bonus of soft serve rotating flavors—loved the coquito!

Local neighborhood pizza spot with a relaxed vibe! I was in the area and stopped in for a slice.
I got the cheese slice and it was yummy. It had no flop, which I appreciated. Solid slice of pizza and good flavor, the only downfall it was too thin for my liking. There were a lot of bubbles which made it even thinner. I would have to eat 2 to feel remotely satisfied, and usually I can get away with just one. For the price, I can find a more filling pie elsewhere.
I do want to say the customer service was friendly, and all the patrons in there were too. We had a lot of conversations together, which was nice. I’m not running to come back here, but if I do come back I’d get a specialty slice to see if its more filling.

I’ve only gotten delivery from Pizza Richmond so far, but I personally have really enjoyed everything I’ve tried. I’ve focused mostly on the specials, including a pizza with potatos and a more Mediterranean inspired one. They have a knack for an unique combination of flavors, and the bechamel sauce base is delicious.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is interested in a solid pizza place. It’s on the expensive side but good portions.

Pizza Richmond strikes the balance of ensuring a pie is crispy on the outside while having a chewiness and flavor that isn’t hindered by its baking. Per the owner’s statements the ingredients do seem higher quality and it is reflected in the texture and taste. The custom seasoning they offer in store is incredible as well.

for the record, I am posting this review almost 9 months after I had the pizza! Things might have changed, but I still want to give my honest, positive review for the business! The pizza was good, get a little bit further on the steeper price, but enjoyable nonetheless! Definitely cool merch and a great old school throwback to the pizzerias of the 60’s, 70’s, and 80s. Will definitely need to return when I’m in the neighborhood visiting friends

My wife and I have had pizza from all through the US. We can say, without a doubt, that Pizza Richmond is the best pizza we have ever had. To me, it is irrefutable.
The attention to detail is noticeable. You can tell that they really care about what they are doing. The dough, the cheese, the sauce, the toppings: it has been perfected. Shokunin through and through. For pizza lovers, this is a must try. For those who have never been to the Philadelphia area, this is enough of a reason to stop by.
Don’t skip out on dessert. Just when you think they’ve hit the ceiling, Pizza Richmond also has some of the best soft serve ice cream in existence. We had their seasonal flavors, dark chocolate and banana, and we were stunned.
The vibe itself was fantastic. The gentleman manning the restaurant behind the register was playing some immaculate music. The interior blends old school diner with japandi architecture. An array of plants and table top games. Warm lighting. BYOB encouraged. It makes you feel like you’re visiting a friend’s house.
This place is a true gem. I would line up for hours just for a slice and some soft serve. I’ll be thinking about it everyday until I return to Philly. Thanks for the food!
