First time trying this place. The food is good they serve it fresh and hot good portions decent price. I ordered the beef egg young with a side of rice for one dollar and the war wonton soup which is hard to find in some areas. It’s not bad given the location but Chinese food is hard to find. I definitely would repeat. Staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean. They have a restroom and lots of ample parking.

Fast, Friendly, and Amazing. Don’t know how else to describe Golden Bay. Staff is kind and inviting. We received our appetizer and drinks fast. We ordered the Mongolian beef and Salt and Pepper chicken wings. The wings were moist, crunchy and packed with flavor. The Mongolian beef was soft but easy to tear. We order some fried rice on the side but we were so stuffed we decided to take it home. The portions were large and were more than enough for 2 people.

I’ve eaten here four times. Each time, I tried a different chicken dish.
Orange, teriyaki, salt and pepper, and honey sesame. All were very tasty, but all had a tough texture that makes it difficult to chew. Maybe some people prefer their chicken that way, but I like my chicken moist and tender. Just can’t get that here. There are two tables on the covered patio, and three booths inside. Most people get their orders to go. Service is fast, friendly, and efficient.

The food is great. The folks are very nice. We order takeout. Hubby loves the beef broccoli, says the meeting is always tender and the broccoli is soft but not soggy. I get chicken of some sorts. My favorites are the sesame chicken and the lemon chicken, though the lemon could use a bit more lemon. They give you an excellent amount if food for your money. We each get 3 or 4 meals out of one box. We also order the small side of rice which makes 2 meals each.

After 12 years of living in San Diego, we finally found our go to spot! The food was AMAZING! Very generous portions, and reasonable prices! We dined in and enjoyed our experience and the atmosphere. We will definitely be going back!

Living downtown, I come out here for the quality, price, and quiet atmosphere. Its a 12 min drive but worth my time. Locally owned establishment….that doesnt advertise but by word of mouth, they have built a good reputation as $=value=quality.

This is a cozy family restaurant conveniently located right off the 94 freeway. It has an open kitchen so you can hear all of the sizzling, see the preparation and enjoy the aromas of your meal. We ordered alot for a group of six. The soups were very good, the food was excellent not too sweet and very satisfying. We are making this our Asian food stop in San Diego.

Service was exceptional, the restaurant was very clean. Limited seating. Salt & pepper chicken wings were great! The coating was light and super crunchy, perfectly cooked. Orange chicken was delicious! Egg drop soup was also great. The complimentary fried wonton chips the very best I’ve ever had! Only downsides, the lumpia was a bit bland, same with the scoop of plain fried rice that came with the lunch plate – literally nothing else in it but egg. I would definitely eat here again! Highly recommend!!!

We ordered the orange chicken lunch special with fried rice. The chicken didn’t really have any sauce on it. It more so tasted like mayonnaise and the rice was super dry and they do not want to give you more than one soy sauce for their rice. I personally would never come back here and eat again.
