We love Huey Magoo’s so much! The chicken tenders are always so fresh and crispy.
I typically prefer bone-in chicken except when it comes to the tenders here. The fact that they use dark meat (chicken thighs) to make the tenders gives them a unique taste that I prefer to any other chicken place that I’ve tried. I love the selection of sauces here as well BUT you do have to pay for additional sauces so there’s that.
Their fries are perfectly seasoned and the toast isn’t too salty. I like the wrap as well. I honestly have nothing bad to say about the food or service (the employees are always nice).
My biggest pain point is parking. It’s by the university so of course parking is terrible and hard to find. It’s the only thing that keeps us from eating here at least once a week.

Forget Canes, forget Chix fil a!! Here’s the best little hidden gem in town. Just off university behind the Cava restaurant lies the best chicken place in the world. The chicken is tender and the seasoning they use is amazing, the fries are crispy and the garlic bread actually has garlic on it. Parking is an issue but if you’re lucky to find parking, you won’t regret trying this place!!

Ordered thru doordash and with my order I added 2 cheese dip cups and a extra ranch..I receieved none but was charged for all so I called the resturant to see if I could get the almost $5 I paid in extra sauces & dips and was told that the person who put my order together prob forgot them and was then told by the girl who was on the phone that she didnt know what U expected her to do about it so I just hung up. Will never order from here again. The door dash driver was very kind and prompt tho. Food was good, customer service was shit.

They have some good, hot, and fresh chicken tenders. They have other options but the tenders are their primary offering. The spicy Magoo sauce and their sweet Thai chili are my favorites. They also have well seasoned ruffle fries and a southern style sweet coleslaw. The order usually takes less than 10 minutes to get when busy, almost immediately if not busy. The parking is very difficult when busy as it located off University Ave and borders a neighborhood. Be prepared to pay for parking if you stay. The building itself is ok but I prefer takeout from here because of parking and noise. Overall a good place to go for good chicken tenders. A direct competitor to the nearby Cane’s.

I read the reviews—and they were absolutely right. The chicken tenders are incredibly tender and delicious. I ordered half regular breaded and half garlic parmesan, and both were outstanding. Dining outside in the beautiful Florida weather made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Oh my goodness! This was my second time in this restaurant. This time I got the BEST salad I have ever had in a fast food restaurant. FRESH salad greens, walnuts, cranberries and incredibly delicious chicken pieces. I will be going here EVERY time I am in Gainesville near UF. The staff was great too, out cleaning tables, filling up necessities and SMILING! Please go to this restaurant. Amazing!

My sister in law and I stopped here the other day when we were running errands and it was amazing. Pretty cheap for the portions, and I love that the tenders are COVERED in sauce. The only thing I would change is having bigger water cups, and bigger sauce cups for the ranch and blue cheese.

I love coming here for lunch. The chicken tenders are great. I like them grilled or fried. Great dipping sauces. The tenders meal deal on Tuesdays and Thursdays is a very good deal. The specials come with drinks. Large amount of fries. The watermelon tea is a real treat. Never had it anywhere except from Huey’s. Jill is the manager. She is always friendly and has awesome customer service skills. Parking can sometimes be a challenge. Overall great lunch spot.

Ewww… What was that taste? It smelled off too (several tenders)… Ice machine nozzle had black spots, and they ignored it when mentioned. Bread was soggy, fries: mid and cole slaw sucked. Tea and lemonade was awful, and tenders cold on top of nasty… Pretty sure we got the wrong order (wrong number of tenders and wrong sauce) and the sauce is just mayo with colour
The only redeeming quality was a friendly cashier (the one who ignored the ice mold)
